  • Excellent Video..I learned a lot. Thank you!

  • @dryroasted99 I try to do my best. Spread the good word. I want couple thousand views per day.

  • Thank you for posting this video! I followed your easy step-by-step process, and now my toilet doesn't sound like a banshee when I flush it. :)

  • Turns out I just needed a new rubber seal. Saved the hassle with calling the plumber this time! Thanks again!

  • I'm a novice at toilets and was just trying to figure this one out myself and before I watched your video, I had no idea how to take the ballcock off. Now I know! Thanks!

  • Thanks. I thought I needed a new Toilet. Went to the hardware store and they sold me a ballcock assembly, so I replaced the whole thing. Probably saved hundreds!

  • @NETWizzJbirk

Yes you saved, there is a Tip Jar @ our website if your feeling so generous. We spend alot of money and time producing these videos...for your use....either way, thanks for watching! Greg

  • great video !!

  • @yossi5867 Thank you, I aim to please!

  • BEST IVE SEEN BALLCOCK CLEANING

  • @ABCDEFIHIJK

Thank you, it's just the simple ABC's and as easy as 123 isnt it. I like your name, thanks Greg

  • Now my problem: I did everything you showed with my Gmax valve, but when I reassembled it and turned the water on, the valve still doesn't turn off the water supply completely when the water level reaches the line. It just keeps trickling in. and eventually overflows into the tube. Does I need a new ballcock, or what?

    Thanks again, great video!

  • @cetm2000 The rubber seal can be bad, "Korky" brand sells them, or buy a new cap with a seal in it..Also if the water pressure has high from a pressure regulator blowing out you will have too high of pressure for the valve to stop. Do you know your pressure? have a pressure gauge? <80psi is needed when no water is flowing. I have a podcast on that too. Is your shut off valve at the wall a good one? if so take the ballcock top to store and match it up.

  • Thanks for this great video! I never would have figured out how to take about my GMax valve without watching you do it. The one part that wasn't clear was taking out the last piece--if you said "Turn it a quarter turn counter-clockwise," that would help.

  • @cetm2000 I thought I did say that....your right that is all there is to it,.

  • Cool! Thanks.

  • What am I doing wrong? I can't get the top off the thing to clean out the sediment. I'm afraid of breaking it if I twist too hard. I bought a new ballcock and have it installed and everything works fine, but I hate the idea that I can't get the top off the thing. Any idea why? The reason I replaced it was because it was taking so long for the tank to refill after flushing. We have a well and I thought maybe sediment was causing the problem. It fills quickly after replacing the ballcock.

  • Thanks! I knew the problem was in the valve because we had a water softener put in and sediment got in the line. All four toilets running at once. Your video showed me how to clean the gasket. Hell, I couldn't even get the top off before seeing your video and the quarter turn. Great job!!

  • @tampascott2 I have plenty of more casts, if you watch them and see a point that is not clear, please tell me so I may do a better job! Thank you for watching.

  • Thank you for this.

  • took mine all apart and the rubbers look fine but after one flush it seems to leak again as if the small little one in the middle thats attached tot he mettle rod is not working, is there anyway to solve this or just buy the new set and does it come with both?

  • Looks are not it. how old is the fill-valve ? do you have a 400 A or the one with the float off to the side? If water pressure is over 80 pounds it might leak and that isnt the fill-valves fault. Do you have a pressure gauge? if so put it on a hose bib on the building outside or the drain at the bottom of the water heater. if your on well water this isnt needed. I need more info.

  • @Littlewhiteboy47 Sorry I didnt see your post till now. There is only one rubber seal in a 400a ballcock. Fluidmaster sell them in hardware stores it is the size of a nickle.

  • Thank you!!! I watched your video a couple of times, made the necessary repairs and saved a LOT of money!!

  • Thanks!!!!!!!!. This video solved my problem.
