@deathshore I think it's just a witty variation of the old fairy tale of the princess kissing the frog which later turns into a handsome prince. Only in Ram Dass' version, the gender roles are reversed and there is a mock twist ending. Hope this helps!

Really brings it home when you watch someone like Ram Dass over many years, sort of like watching the various movie stars, you don't ever expect them to grow old.

This man has been a teacher for so long he is like a teacher version of a movie star.

He had a stroke...blood clot in the brain. Lack of oxygen killed off a fair number of blood cells. As a result, it takes more effort for him to talk and convey ideas...
