Warren lied about the Moodys rating agency and he routinely talks his own book and sadly this is not caught because the "financial journalists" want to kiss his bottom in order to get another interview. Buffett is a Left wing, anit-American Obama supporter who is not much different than Soros.

BS, donating money doesnt make a person good or bad. If a person has no money at all, is he also expected to donate money?

Whether you are good or bad, depends on your actions as a person. Will you stand up against injustice? Will you stand up for the weak? Will you hurt someone with words? Will you make racists remarks? etc etc.

You dont know Buffet personally and neither do I. So you cannot judge. He seems to be a good guy but appearances can be deceiving. Either way, you are BSing.

Yes he did and it cut his corporate tax rate at berkshire quite a pretty penny as a result. Buffett is totally self serving 100%. And as for research, his so called LTCM offer was a joke. It was a single page. it was a publicity stunt masquerading as a offer and every trader knows it. I dont like Warren Buffett because he lies and is manipulative for the purposes of his own gain because it gives him satisfaction. A number of these people including this one are not your "buddies" in ANY sense.

I have studied his life in considerable detail and I will continue to and I am yet to find any respectable person that has a bad word to say about him.

@sysopkc I'm not going to judge you, Warren wouldn't. The 'penny pinching' principles he practises are underpinned in his mind by a deep insight and respect of the power of compounding. You're entitled to your opinion but if you think the most successful investor on the planet doesn't have any gems of knowledge to offer on the subject then i'm inclined to question your intelligence.

I think it's pretty interesting how much Mr. Buffet emphasises the importance of brand equity. I think this is a great way to look at investing as the strong equity of a brand creates that "wide moat" that Warren is talking about. He's not only a fantastic investor, he has an excellent sense and appreciation of marketing as well.
