The "no plane" theory is at least an interesting one though. Its a feasible solution to some of the questions raised in September Clues. If you haven't already, check it out sometime. Maybe your right, it's hard to tell what's reality in today's world. Watch an action movie and a film of people really being shot and you will notice something, the real thing looks like something out of a very low budget movie. Nobody is flying around or spraying blood everywhere.

Here's the problem with this. In real life coincidences happen *every day*. It's only in fiction that remarkable coincidences don't happen. A few years ago I wrote down all the coincidences that happened to me and eventually had to stop. It was driving me mad. How many episodes of the X-Files and other shows have there been? How many have come true? This man bases his argument on something he saw in The Simpsons? Moronic. I enjoy the X-Files and The Simpsons but at least I know they are stories.

Real life looks dull and fake usually. I suppose with that in mind the explosion was a little too Hollywood but that's just my instincts bugging me, not logic.

@videosfromderelix If you look up "September Clues" (on YouTube), there are about a dozen or so parts to it. I'm not sure what you're referencing (about violence in movies), but the main point behind SC is that at least one of the network broadcasts was using fake footage. At the least, its an interesting set of coincidences.

I came across this scene from The Lone Gunmen while doing research early on Conspiracies for a possible book.
This is by far the most disturbing thing I come across.
It is very clear that the writers of The Lone Gunmen came across information in reports which targeted the Twin Towers in wargames.
That is why both towers were mentioned in this episode.
Notice one of the character's says "This isn't just another wargame."

@milkytankk besides the possibility that some of the writers could of been in on it, if u have enough super computers capable of tracing the path of every atom and molecule in an area u could use that model to predict how and where they will move but as far as anyone knows there is no computer complex enough to be able to calculate the path of matter let alone abstract things such as political events and acts of terrorism

@utterlystupidstuff I don't think they got the idea from the show. In 2000 they already studied in Hamburg Germany and took flight lessons at the beginning of 2001. And the X-Files predicted a lot of stuff coincidentally. Although this is really scary shit that they had this one covered so closly. There is an interview with Dean Haglund (lead actor on this show) about 911 and CIA agents that turned up at x-files promotion events. Might be interesting to hear for some of you folks.

The funny thing is - the simpsons clip is silent and taken out of context. The voiceover is making it up - a nine does not pop up out of the air - and bart simpson does not laugh. In context the scne makes perfect, none conspirational sense, out of like this it becomes muddled. I'm not denying the coincidence I'm denying the importance.

Like jules vernes' books for example, also that children book writer coincidently writing about the times square bomb scare but i am astonished at the simpsons not so much the x-files as many episodes i found to be based on reality somehow
