yes, the peddles are removed very easily. However, when the finns are in their 'up' position, they sit somewhat flush to the hull of the boat allowing you to go into very shallow waters.

I fish on small river systems so lots of paddling. Could I remove the footpedals and switch over to a paddle as I go down the river?
