You say they are almost always out swimming around! Thanks for that info! I bought a few more Kuhli Loaches (striped) thinking it might bring out the other loaches from under their driftwood. When I see them in a shop I will buy a few.
I just feed them regular sinking tabs, this video was from when they were relatively new to the tank - they've settled down since then but are almost always out swimming around. I have some stripey kuhli loaches too, but they hide most of the time.
These guys kind of look scared to me, rather than just swimming around. Kuhli oaches need either hiding places or sand to burrow in, and are mostly nocturnal scavengers. If you want them to come out during the day, you need to give them a reason to - therefore, feed them something very small during the day, and they should learn to fee during the day. Do this often enough and they should start coming out during the day. Also, they'll be more adventurous when they get older (and larger).
I've noticed my kuhlis doing that in large groups. Normal behaviour I hear, just playing around apparently.

They're always out in that tank. Kuhli loaches burrow in sand, you haven't got sand so they're forced to surface.

what time of day are you suppose to feed them for them to come out like that?
