  • Bear in mind this was analogue synth time - midi came about 2yrs later and virtually wiped out the technology. In USA and UK the system was often used with a Nile Steiner Microcon synth (Parker Steiner), in Europe it was often seen with another synth made by Oberheim. It would work with any synth at the time including keyboard synths, Micro Moog EMS and ARP for example. Roland finished them off, with the multiple instrument digital interface (MIDI).

  • i wonder what synth he had hooked up to that, moog, arp? Very square though, I mean could you get any whiter?
