Continued... Wow girl your guitar playing is just beautiful. What discipline required to play as you do, I think many don't understand, or appreciate.. What guitar are you playing? What a wonderful tone. I have the honor of owning a Ramirez, and a Lauriente. The sound produced from the Lauriente makes me break into weeping sessions, when I hit that groove. What a wonder a brand new set of strings, fully stretched can do. I am sure your guitar was made for you specifically. Thank you.

I recently changed to Savarez strings. Very nice tone to them. I think I was probably using D'Adarrio before, or Martins. No Comparisom with the Savarez.

Hi Jeff, my guitar came with Ramirez strings. I have all-year-round sweaty hands, and my strings last for about 3 months.

I use finger ease too, I think it helps keep the strings crisp, but it also smells good. Something I noticed about the Ramirez though is the wood smell, it wafts up now and then when I am playing, and it's almost as if the soul of the guitar maker is coming into me. It is hard to describe, but I just love the smell of the guitar. (weird huh)

Finger ease? Never heard of that. I just use one of my handerchiefs to wipe my guitar strings. My guitar has an indescribable aroma oozing from the end of the neck. It's kinda yucky. Hope it's not my hands.

I had found a site where a guy was playing a rendition of Here comes the sun, and well I had the pleasure of discovering you and David Qualey. I am recently retired from the Army, of which I really had no time for the guitar. Since I retired I have been studying Segovia, Sor, and that whole "Estudia" era. You are a wonderful and your guitar always seems to have fresh set of strings.
