@tod4y The physics in Stunts *are* revolutionary...which is probably also why they don't always work as expected. Still, there's something absolutely insane about some of the glitches (such as the infamous "skyrocketing out of a loop" bug) which most players would see relatively often, so it's hard not to notice some of the more obvious (but also wonderful) flaws in the system.
Brings back memories of my childhood, thanks for the video. Don't play stunts very often anymore because there is Track Mania now. Infact, Track Mania 2 is currently being made. :)
awsome....i spent so much time playing this when i was a kid! I remember getting home from school and running strait to the computer to play this game....that and Doom :D
Surely, they should make a remake of this game yes?? imagine the gameplay of this game, with unreal graphics, and maybe some way you have to earn cash so you can upgrade cars and whatnot.
there is a spiritual remake of this game, called Trackmania, with modern day graphics and online multiplayer.. check it out on youtube.. it's very similar :)
Yeah, I was going to say the same thing. Trackmania (for PC and Nintendo DS, btw) may not quite have the same completely crazy car physics, but it does have a very nice level editor which reminds me of Stunts.
ah, Stunts, my favourite racing game in the early 90's on the PC. i used to make large cities with lots of loops and jumps so you land on buildings and whatnot. :)
Btw i wouldn't consider the physics as buggy. It did fail sometimes but was still revolutionary.

Wrong adlib emulation, should have used the opl2 emulation instead of opl3
PimpinBassie2 2 years ago
I used "auto" on opl mode, which is the default in my DOSBox frontend.
Sounds exactly like I remember it, and that's what matters most in this video series.
