As an Ethiopian my answer is of course we are not the same people. Eritreans paid price for their freedom. Our different should not stop us from being friends and good neighbours. It even makes it more interesting to be different from each other. That is the reason I am enjoying this music and dutiful dance. I am Gurage ( a small tribe in Ethiopia). Tigrigna's Ancestry is probably Tigre, which is exclusively in Eritrea, and the people migrated Southwards.
