  • I have a male INR 2 y/o and he doesn't like me petting him or even trying to! BUT when my daughter and her husband come over he is just like your Henry!! I wish I knew what I was doing wrong with him cuz I just love him to pieces!!!

  • SHe's not a LATINO, she is a LUTINO. A latino is a person that speaks SPanish from Latin America. A Lutino is a yellow to white shade of color for parrots.

  • Um, Henry is short for Henrietta, khicenyc

  • how fucked up to name a grl henry..

  • XD It's eyes are freaky, but I love how it's posture just screams *under the neck, under the neck, oohhhhhhh that's niiiicccceeeee*

  • @fender9199 i think she is annoyed may be because of that ring or something that lady is wearing in his hand.

  • lmfao i love his pupils its like

BIG small BIG small BIG small

  • AAW She like that!!! <3

  • He's like "YES! Cuddles!"

  • does not look ike he even wants to cuddle at all!!

  • @dcbboats666 lol, trust me, that's a cuddling stance. the pinning eyes are excitement and the chattering is kinda like "yup, yup, yup, just there!" that bird would nip or move away if she didn't want it!...they're not that stupid to sit there and take it if they don't want to.

  • What a gorgeous yellow she has. o3o

  • this bird looks like its trippin lol

  • Want your thumb rings-LOL

  • disabled eyes....

  • I cuddle a bird every day! In fact, I cuddle more than one! (pigeons!!) also, Hes soo cuttee!!!

  • cuteeeeeeeeeeeee

  • Awesome! Good bird: wonderful owners too!

  • My blue Ringneck does this to! Though mine is definitely male as he is getting his ring :) so cute!

  • AWW SO FUCKEN CUTE!

  • those eyes are terrifying. i would have to cover his cage with a blanket so he didn't stare at me while i slept.

that aside...this is really cute. i met a parrot once that would stick his head feathers through the bars of his cage when he wanted you to pet him. and if he wasn't in his cage, he would just rub his head on your face while sitting on your shoulder. it was awesome.

  • Are they expensive?

  • 0.34 - 037 - MUAHAHAHHAHAH evil laugh!!

  • He is scary.... The eyes....

  • This is so lovely

  • haha its the mating position guys! xD But she probably doesent mind.

  • he is scary!! omg

  • You've made some valid points, but you're just preaching to the choir. I know all that you've mentioned, and put it into practice every day. I could stay here all night and talk about the "bird safe foods" i share with them, or our relationship. I just don't feel like it I still am mindful of their bodies, and the FACT that it's best to only pet them around the head and neck. Also, I do take them to not just a bird specialist, but a Cockatiel specialist.

  • @Sunstreaker68 glad youve got one, there arent any around here and most know way less than me which is really bad because i dont do surgery nor would i try unless its something verry minor and even then only in an amergency. to get a specialest i would have to travle over 100 miles min assuming theres a bird show in medford oregon otherwise ill have to travle to roseburg oregon or forbid central california

  • lol. I love that my posts made you waste your time going off like this. This is hilarious. I'm not gonna waste my night reading through your drivel. I can only imagine your age, at how consumed you became from my comment I don't care what generation you are, how many birds you've had blah blah blah. My birds are strong for their size too. Big whoop. You should still only pet the bird on their head, out of respect for the animal.

  • @Sunstreaker68 im not going off like anything im just being factfull i spend most of my time collecting knowlage and i do respect them and anyone whose seen me with my birds knows this im also verry protective of them and theyt are protective of me ps im almost 26 im not a kid and i spend most of my time fixing stuff. shoot i even take my birds fishing with me (not the teils though too flighty) and its in my nature to speak my mind so do my birds they take after me.

  • @Sunstreaker68 and nova has only bitten me once when she was still verry young one thing i have learned about them is the babies are meaner than adults but its worth the bond.

  • @SCARLETBIRDS Nova is a cool name. My female is actually named Scarlett oddly enough lol. Neither of my birds have ever really been biters. Scarlett will only bite when she's guarding her eggs, and even then it doesn't hurt. Dewey, my male, has always been a little bit more tempermental and will peck but not hard...but only if he doesn't want to be moved, or pet. When he was young, he did not like being pet Now he has calmed down, and even begs for head rubs now.

  • @Sunstreaker68 whats really weard is mine wont protect the eggs from methey let me look at them for signs of problems weard or what? the most they will do is hiss and rock back and forth.

  • also have you tried giving them caffeine free tea with a little cream and honey or without mine go crazy

  • @SCARLETBIRDS signing off cyall later

  • also i forgot to tell you i come from 3 generations of parrot trainers/ breeders im not just self taught! and constant attention th the bird increases the bond between parrot and owner not to mension sharing bird safe foods when your eating who cares if they make a mess thats what they doo anyways

  • also for being so fragile they sure do play rough dont they birds are unusually strong for their size when my nova decides she doesnt wanna leave i have to peel her off and its not easy and shes really strong for her size, shes a solomon island eclectus and better to have her bite me than a macaw or derbyan parakeet and a few hundred other species to name

  • there are no bird vets where i live and most vets in southern oregon dont know much about birds in general or reptiles so when someone has a problem they ask me or the next closest person who is a breeder whom i ask when i dont know and they ask other breeders when they dont know and those breeders are usually near a parrot vet most vets specialise in mammels. now think about that the next time you have to take a bird to a non specialist thats why they have parrot only vets.

  • ps i know where all their organs are located that includes both genders

  • dont quote me anatomy their reproductive organs only stimulate when they are in season or puberty 9 out of 10 times they are also visually stimulated as well, also i havnt just had parrots i train them that includes dangerous species like macaws all the way down to budgies and lovebirds and i can understand their body language. also the breathing parts in a bird are called air sacks, and one more thing a birds belly is all bone there is no stomach its called a crop and its right below the throat

  • awesom bird i know that look shes giving you thats the dont you dare stop scratching look my solomon island eclectus does that when im playing with her or giving her a treat. also when shes trying to steal food out of my mouth had her since 2months old almost 2 years old then one more year and ill have to worry about puberty as females get aggressive during this time otherwise shes allwauys gentle gets along with all my other birds too.

  • mine used to do this all the time, and meow, and she had a strange habit of putting her head in my mouth everytime i tried to eat!

  • WHOA... im pretty sure those eyes just peered into my soul.

    i feel cold

  • Woah shes beautiful, look at her eyes they are gorgeous and its funny how her pupils get big and then smalllllll.

  • What a beautiful bird! Amazing colors and obviously she trusts and loves you. Birds love contact and cuddling and not just because they are in heat. I have a 24 year old ring neck dove who is most affectionate at all times. She puts her wing around my neck in a hug and puts her face right up to my face.......Birds are very loving creatures....I enjoyed this video a lot!

  • haah his pupils get larger when he likes it

  • HaHaHa Look At Its Eyes

    xD

  • Comment removed

  • The bird is like Me Gusta!!

  • I think your bird is in heat and you don't know it. She wants you to tickle her butt hole.

  • I always thought that the pinpointing eyes meant they were angry?

  • i was staring at its eyes the whole time..lol.

  • Bad clipping of her wings! Please inform yourself in how to properly clip wings of parrots.

  • so sweeeeet

  • AHH HE'S EYES!!

  • It looks nervous...

  • @Kinelosan If you've ever known an indian ringneck this isn't nervous. This is a very lovey stance. The dilating pupils and the chattering are both very high compliments. This young bird is very happy.

  • @fender9199

iam waiting for another comment on those popping eyes that says he has rabbies,

  • @fender9199

iam waiting for another comment on those popping eyes that says he has rabbies, or somethng else.

  • lady: and a scratch under the belly.

    bird: a lil lower

  • I've cuddled a (tame) snake before. I even tickled it under its chin! It probably just liked my body heat, but it was still cuddling. I love my high-school science teacher.

  • You can tell someone isn't a bird owner when they spazz out over pinning.

  • my bird (Asule R.I.P) did this BUT. It went to the edge of the cage and let me grab it, she never was expecting it they're just in love with they're owner and love them. But for Me well... i had to make kissy noises for my bird to do that SO i guess we loved eachother very much ^^

  • <8

  • <:

  • A rent eyes supposed to dilate if you are relaxed?

  • My bird makes that same exact sound when i do that hahaha

but my bird is green :) is that an indian ringneck?

  • his eye gets biger

  • i think he jizzed.

  • Thats almost creepy, those eyes...

  • I just noticed the puzzle. I guess your bird isn't an asshole like mine all are and would pull all the pieces off lol

  • @NuVanessa It's not where sexual organs are, but the bird can find the body touching arousing and become sexually frustrate. I mean, my arms and back aren't sexual organs but if someone rubbed me the right way I might like it too >_>

  • My IRN does the same thing when she wants lovins. So creeeeepy lol. She thinks she can do this every time she does something BAD. Not buying it, lol

  • jesus his eyes are freaky!

    he's like O.O

  • @NuVanessa Also, touching, and grooming is a part of bird social interaction, not to mention it should be done daily to check for blood feathers, parasites and general bonding with it, especially with an Indian Ringneck being that they have a very deserved reputation towards being butt heads.

  • @NuVanessa Looks like you need to do some reading yourself sweetheart. I can't imagine what diagram you're looking at but the closest organ to the "mantle" (not upper or lower back) is the lungs. The reproductive organs are all near the cloaca. And WOW, I'm REALLY curious as to what sexual organs could POSSIBLY be in the wing! As for where to touch them, you can do so anywhere as long as you do it gently like in the video.

  • the eye is freaking me out!

  • my budgie used to do that when I would do something that would make vibration e.g. clap my hand really hard. But it would also bend into a U shape +the white eyes lol

  • Comment removed

  • I love how he's just like a dog!

  • Hey i always put my Ringneck together with my female White Capped Pionus Parrot and yesterday i see the Ringneck mating with my Pionus, you think is a bad idea, or nothing will happen if i let them mate??

  • my pionus is making that noise

  • Comment removed

  • The eyes O-O

  • meee vaaanttt cuddlesssssss

  • its like he's high

  • love the vid, thats a happy fella :) always good to see happy parrots

is that the pleiades in the background?

  • i want that thingy^.^

  • Well I hope you realize that most of this you were masturbating your bird.

  • that is the cutest thing ever

  • He doesn't like it, his pupils dilate back and forth because he is scared. you can also tell by looking at his tail that is hanged down. he doesn't like it D:

  • @Rexxar515 Pupil dilation is the sign of excitement which can either be positive or negative. In this case the bird is most certainly pleased.

  • I like cuddles. :D

  • Now that's what i call a funny bird!

  • his eyes are freakin me out

  • his eyes are showin, hes lovin it!XD

  • Look at those eyes pin!

  • Comment removed

  • lol his eyes are focusing to zoom in like a lens:L

  • my quaker is a cuddler, she'll rub her head on my cheek and likes hugs

  • omg his pupils are freakin me out

  • omgg his eyes looks like a camera lens

  • "Man I am so high right now."

  • Get a boy bird quick so you can have babies. That's her mating pose. Heee heee

  • ..... I'm pretty sure they do that when they're horny.. she's in that position because she's expecting to be mounted.. sooooo... basically... she's hopin' for a lil' more than just a cuddle.. >.>'

  • @kitelupineaquila No they put there tail high to get some action i had 2 indian ringnecks too this one just wants to be cuddled

  • @kitelupineaquila How do you know that? You've shagged a parrot before haven't you!

  • @SonnyA89 Oh you, ohohoho! How did you know? :P

  • @kitelupineaquila I have also. :*(

  • @kitelupineaquila hahah....this is true. You're not supposed to pet birds anywhere but their head....too bad there are some uneducated owners out there.

  • @Sunstreaker68 ....too bad there are some uneducated owners out there? like you? ive ben petting mine everywhere since i could walk and ive never had a single problem the only problem i see is know it alls and lack of handleing that may make them that way. ive dealt with over 1000 types of birds. the only time you have to worry is during breeding season or puberty otherwise youll always have a problem. the birdman has spoken!

  • @SCARLETBIRDS Sorry dude...but its a fact that you're not supposed to pet a bird anywhere but it's head. Their reproductive organs are very easily stimulated, and not too mention birds have complicated lungs that resemble air sacks...in four different places all over there bodies. It's not a good idea to pet birds in the stomach or back. I'll take the word of a vet and my experience over yours anyday. You're definately not the only person to have had parrots since they were young.

  • @Sunstreaker68 read above posts

  • @SCARLETBIRDS I kinda already did that, hence my reply from about an hour ago. Care to elaborate?

  • @Sunstreaker68 i allready put several posts up and read yourse

  • @SCARLETBIRDS I have a great relationship with my birds. If I'm at home they are on me....or adventuring with supervision. They have their own relationship, and no need to rubb one out on my hand. I agree, they are very strong but as I posted a sec ago...still shouldn't rubb them in certain areas. I'm not worried about "making the bird any certain way", just respectful of their health. With so much "bird experience" I would expect you to be more respectful of your bird's bodies.

  • @Sunstreaker68 i allready put several posts up and read yourse also the reason peopole call me the bird man is because its the only pet ill ever have or ever had i only handle birds

  • @Sunstreaker68 thats not true, you dont pet birds on the body unless its very tame. it depends if the birds ok with it. my cockatiels like it on their heads, just behind their shoulders, and under their beak.

  • @kitelupineaquila Didn't she say it was a boy? I mean, I know the gender's hard to tell sometimes but still.

  • @kitelupineaquila Yep. The pupil-flashing is a dead giveaway. We restrict ourselves (on the advice of our vet) to mostly head-scratching and kisses for our lovebird. She's extremely snuggly, but because we don't stroke her wings and back like a "suitor" would, she's never gotten the...wrong idea.

  • looks like birdy broke into someone's stash...

  • soooooooooo cute!!!!!!!

  • haha 0:6

  • but will it blend?

  • Oh my gosh, this is just like that Cupcake Dog! O.O

  • I cuddle every kind of animals 8D

  • 12 people dont like cuddling :o

  • Well thats called taming, taming is when you "cuddle" your bird and gain its trust by the way what bird would that be (what species)

  • I cuddle my fish everyday!Hehe

  • His pupils dialate so clearly!

  • this was cute.... but now its.... still cute but scary

  • i cuddle my cockatiel everyday

  • THIS NEEDS MORE VIEWS!

  • that bird is thinking you are having sex with it silly!

  • @jltbirdy that's what I thought... aren't the neck/back/under wing areas erogenous for birds?

  • that bird is thinking you are having sex with it silly!

  • birds love being "scratched" in the neck :)

  • Satan's bird will eat your soul.

  • it looks ready to mate

  • i had a bird like that

  • I wish I had your confidence to pet Henry like you do!! She's a gorgeous bird!

  • Wow, that's amazing that she lets you pet her under the wings!

  • My Harry only lets me scratch his head for a little while before he gets annoyed.

  • @DAVIDx41 - do you think it might be a girl?? Both girl birds I've had are friendly but hate being stroked, they really hate it, the male however is as friendly as God only knows what!! (COKATIELS).

  • i love how their eyes turn into pin pricks and back again when they get excited lol

  • awww so cute! Wish my birds would let me pet them!

  • I had a lovebird, and he loved a good cuddle^^

  • he's really saying "bitch if you keep touching me i swear!!!!!"

  • he kinda scares me but hes cute

  • Looks like hes tripping on shrooms lol

  • The demons inside me say YES CUDDLES !!!

  • @x3Shantastic demons? Fuck off you satan cocksucker

  • my eyes do that when my bird strokes ma balls

  • So adorable!

  • " I NEVER SAID U COULD STOP ! "

    *Starts cudling again*

  • when birds eyes do that that means that they are scared so you should stop i know u would love to cuddle it cuz i have a bird and i really want to but i cant

  • @Crimsoncherryroses11

No it usually means that they're excited, not scared. If this bird was scared the person in the video would know it ie. her finger would feel it.

  • um the eyes keep getting big and small that means that the bird is scared so i wouldnt do that if i where u

  • i don't think it like it its eyes keep getting big and small

  • Wow, his eye-pinning shows that he really enjoys it. Now I want one.

  • awww shes squeeking!

  • wow it is so cool how different breeds of parakeets look and act soooo different i have budgies myself and that one is huge compared to them

  • "YEA!! scratch my smell armpit, SCRATCH IT!!"

  • did you feed your bird shrooms?

  • Reminds me of a bird watching a Japanese cartoon show that causes seizures.

  • He just wants cuddles.
