  • Yeah... just because of specs. different lights are better for different people. Sometimes you will be blown away by the feel of a light because it is ergonomic or just "clicks" with you. I love gear reviews... but Streamlight, Fenix, 4sevens, Surefire etc. all definitely have kick ass lights.

  • nice review ryan

im 15 years old i live in the city would you recomend this flashlight to me?

how far does the beam reaches? does it reach at least some 70 meters?

again nice review ill wait yor answer

(sorry for my bad english, im mexican)

  • nice vid, ya did a good job, and kick ass flashlight, i really wanna get a streamlight. or somethin close

  • i am looking to get the scorpion but came across this great video.

would you recommend this over the scorpion, or go for the colored leds?

i need an all around compact tactical light for home and outdoor use.

  • According to streamlight's website the 2L is brighter then the 1L:

(1L brightness) "29 lumens typical with xenon bulb; 24 lumens from 3 LEDs"

(2L brightness) "72 lumens typical with xenon bulb; 25 lumens from 3 LEDs"

The run time on the 2L is 28 hours for the LED and 2.5 for the Xenon, Whereas the run time on the 1L is 1.5 for the Xenon and 9.5 for the LED. Like you say in the vid though, the 1L is much more compact, and the fact that it only takes 1 cell and is cheaper makes it redeemable IMO.

  • nice vid ryan AGAIN

  • You really should check out fenix flashlights dollar for dollar will blow stream light away. However to save bucks go to dealextreme . com and check out the line of cree lights

  • Thanks. Is your suggestion from experience w/both? I'm familiar with the different brands, Pelican, SL, Surfire, Fenix etc. IME streamlights are some of the highest value lights out there. Doing flashlight demos on YT doesn't do justice for the flashlight being reviewed. They decrease the quality bigtime.

  • The fenix is from experence,, the cheap ones are just by looking at the spec's ,they use the same diode as the finex. I have not ordered one yet.

  • @dsarti1 You obviously are taking advice on good flashlights from nutnfancy. And obviously don't know . So let me fill you in cree lamps have orange peel reflectors they throw beams bright out to 30 yards. Other then that... And the rate their lumens out the front much higher then others. When tested by users whom own both. They find the american lights alot better.

  • Nice review.

Ive been looking at the 2L version. Its kind of like a low cost Surefire A2.

  • Cool video.
