  • Wow cute bird... and the parrots cool too :p

  • how much do u think these parrots go for? appritiate it if someone tells me thanks!

  • what kind of oatmeal is that? i just got a senegal for an old lady the other day.. she couldn't take care of him anymore... That's a girl right? the parrot book says that females v shape is usually longer than the males...

  • i like the owner of the parrot :)

  • s(he)s a cutie!

  • Do you ever get an itchy type of rash when your bird get's on your skin ?

  • aw what a cutie and so docile! Makes me want a bird but I know I wont have that much luck lol.

  • Wow, so tame. Mine bites like a piranha.

  • There really camera shy.

  • I'm sorry but is this normal for this species of bird to barely make any noise like this? Amazing parrot but i cant believe how quiet it is :/

  • @Depro900 all parrrots are different :)

  • thats how i am with my parrot!

  • how hard is it to take care of him/her

  • kisses for me thx kisses for me !!!thx

  • Hey. Cool clip. U teach him not to bite and grab. Had mine for 3 yrs and he seems like he still doesn't trust me. Deff won't go on his back like that. As for screaching when he sees me he constantly screaches real loud so I let him out if tge cage. Any tips on the biting ? Thanks

  • reall good relationship u got there,,,, amazing and cute

  • Senegal parrots are not supposed to eat strawberries. Nice bird anyway :P

I got one 2 and he's making microwave sound too, and phone.

  • Do Senegal Parrots like to be in pairs?

  • @NillyTales Senegals are the kind of bird that usually bond to only one person, if there is another Senegal, it will bond to that bird, and not you. They are a lot more likely to be grumpy birds if they bond to eachother, since they don't need your attention. I say get one, from personal experience. But remember, EVERY bird is different.

  • If you want it to fly without risking an escape, you can get a flying harness, we got one for our cockatiel, they work great.

(it's called "aviator" harness), we can go hiking with the bird flying around.

  • they are like feathered puppies with a higher IQ :D

  • very very cute, both of u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • nice legs ;)

  • So cute!

  • are senegals really loud?

  • Not really loud. They have their moments, but they'yre relatively quiet. GREAT apartment birds for that reason.

  • Aww such a beautiful, adorable bird!

  • Your senegal is a cutie

  • Usually about $400 to $700 depends where you buy them from. Breeders usually cost a lot less and have better quality birds. Pet stores tend to over price their bird and the birds aren't usually the best at pet stores

  • Where did you buy him and how much did he cost you?

Thx and nice vid : 5 stars!!

  • Really cute Senegal Parrot. Mine looks just like yours minus the yellow eyes. Mine is just over one year old. When did yours change color?

    What's your Senegal's name?

  • XD

My Senegal was on my shoulder when I was watching this.

When she saw your parrot, she flew straight towards the computer! XD (She's okay though ^^ )

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one who kisses, smells, and feeds ( usually my bowl of rice) to my bird. XD

  • How old is she? How long have you had her? Great work on the training!

  • how do you make stay on its back???? Our hates it

  • every bird is different. senegals like to play on their backs but unless you make it a positive game that they can trust you with they might feel unsure until they are taught properly.

  • hey i got a senegal parrot too like the way u lookin after it ..... ooo nd nice legs lol

  • lucky bird...

  • Your Senegal is really cute and sweet. I had a Senegal Parrot too, named Kermit. I do agree, Senegal Parrot is one of the nicest companion =)

  • I have a senegal too. He's with my grandma at the moment because she is by herself and he is great company for her. you senegal is very cute, how old is he?

  • You definitely have the right energy with animals. Quite amazing really!

  • wow, I have a bird that looks just like that but she always bites me if I go near her T.T

  • hehehe i love birds

  • oh, he is a sweetie and he loves you, it is so easynto see on this video, he is so lucky having a caring owner like you. good job!

  • MY Senegal is a loud bastard. But, I love him anyway. Really cool what you can do with the wings. Oscar (my Senegal) used to let me do that but now he's a grumpy 14 years old.

  • what changes exactly have occurred in his older age?

  • Hey Melissa...I have a Senegal too. Yours is sooooo cute!!!!! Nice mini skirt too!!

  • haha, i was wondering if i was the only one to notice that. Oh yeah, and you are aware of the upcoming crisis? not anything particular, but that something big is coming, and so many are blind to it?

  • thanks for this response melissa, indeed it is entertaining. your senegal trusts you very much the reason he allows you to handle him that way. cheers brenda

  • It's like a puppy!

  • How long have you had your Senegal, and how often do you work with him? I hope you post another vid of your bird. Thanks, Scott

  • My senegal loves people food. He lays on his back too! Heloved watching your bird! My harly dosent bite me.

  • WOw nice legs

  • how did you train your senagal like that coz mines just evil it bites every1 and doesnt do anything

  • how can you tell the difference between male and female senagel parrots? thanks

  • I found that my Senegal, due to weight of 120 to 131gs, just clip Primaries 10 to 5. Mine went down like a rock with all 10 clipped, not a petty sight, now with just 5 clipped, she is safer and lot happier.

  • when you were rattling the spoon the parrot was acting like my cat when we get him a slice of turkey

  • WHAT A SWEETIE!

poicephalus have a charm, don't they?

  • I have a senegal parrot, too. She does the microwave also. She also does the coffee machine, and the smoke alarm. Senegals are such sweeties!

  • and so damn strong, you wont believe how hard these little birds bite, until they bite you.

  • Oh yeah, REALLY strong! Erg, it is NOT fun when they bite you...

  • how do you train him or she not to bite you?

  • nice laptop...

  • hi from Holland, what a cutie pa tootie!! I have a sennie myself.. also very sweet LOL bye, Ellen

  • Cute bird.And......you're pretty hot yourself. :)

  • gorgeous, and the bird lol

  • are senegals generally nippy?

  • in reply to pumaa7 it depends on the gender and personality of the parrot.

trust me a have a male, cheeky one

  • My Senegal Desmond and I have been watching all of the Senegal videos here, and he wants to tear up the screen!! They are soooooo jealous!!

    Great video! Thanks!

  • i used to have a senegal parrott!! where did u get him??

  • lucky bird:)

  • Lol, mine beeps too.

  • you are very good girl ;) nice pet

  • Wow, wonderfully tamed bird! Mine sometimes gets nippy for no reason (and then wants his neck scratched), and when being put upside down always wants at least one talon graping my finger. (Mine also beeps like the microwave when he wants attention.)

  • How sweet! He's a beautiful bird who's definitely loved. :-)

  • Hy Melissa, what about add more videos of your parrot? It's a nice bird...

  • Cute bird.

  • lol im getting a Senegal parrot nxt week lol. they are suck beautiful creatures and very smart.

  • Good, I have some bird!

  • hey i was just wondering how did you teach your bird to lay on its back without biting because whenever i put my senegal on its back it will start to bite!My bird just turned 1 years old 14 days ago is it too late or early to teach it not to bite?

  • Hey there, I just got a 5 month old senegal, and wanted to know how you got your baby to turn over like that? I'd love to teach mine to do that too! Thank you!

  • cool bird, I must agree with joycepayeur, could be a female, but the size is of a male, I think undertail coverts is more important.. so probably female

  • my senegal sleeps with me in my bed under the covers all night sometimes.

  • cute. but its kind of dangerous, i had a friend who smothered her bird by accident doing that once, was completely by accident but it was really awful for her & her bird.

  • no, senegals parrots...unlike other birds in the parrot family truly enjoy being on their backs. My senie flips over on her own so I'll rub her tummy. Plus thought you'd like to know, Dawn works with Animals as a trainer in Orlando, FL. But, I'm sure she appreciates your concern for "fluffy puff".

  • i own a sennie myself :) but yes it wasnt a criticism just concern

  • sweet...aren't they a riot! I love my little girly bird so much!

  • Both chicks are adorable! I am wanting my Sennie to talk. She's 5 months old, nothing yet. Thank you for sharing.

  • LoL he's determined to have that oatmeal. My bird makes cage clanking noise (like the sound of me clanking the lever to unlock it) when he wants to come out and play. :) senegals are the best

  • Your bird is adorable. But he looks like a she, based on undertail coverts. Looking forward to move videos of your friend the Senegal.

  • What a cool bird. My Senegal would have bitten me multiple times. Need to work on that.

  • aww, he really is cool. who knew parrots liked oatmeal?
