Gregory Smith & James McAvoy Video

Even though I've always known they're two separate people who happen to look very similar, seeing The Conspirator with Alexis Bledel and Wanted with Chris Pratt made me laugh a bit. I kept feeling like I was watching Ephram and Rory in some sort of period WB tv movie or Ephram and Bright together again, respectively.

I thought it was Gregory Smith playing Xavier lol, as I watched the film I wondered how he changed his voice so much Didn't realize there was another guy that looked so similar, though I McAvoy is technically older so I guess Smith is the look alike.

Oh wow, they do look alike. But strangely I am not the least bit attracted to Greg (even if he is adorable), yet when I see James I go batshit fangirl crazy. Yeah. :)

i knew james mcavoy first and i love him but yesterday i saw a movie about the war and ring i thought young james was james mcavoy ...wht's wrong with my eyes i just know right now he was gregory but i still love james mc more

I've been a fan of james mcavoy for few years now, I even met him in person and have a photo with him (gosh this is so surreal). Believe it or not my friend lives across the raod from him. It's so weard I can't say which one's which on some photos. I've only discovered Gregory few months ago when I first watched Ewerwood on E4. He's got more subtle features but is still tooo young for my liking.

Loved this vid! Just saw Closing the Ring last night and I thought Young Jack was played by James McAvoy, who I adore. Further research led me to Gregory Smith, who I admired in Everwood. I think it would be so cool to see them play brothers in a film. They are both so handsome and so talented.

After I looked him (James McAvoy) up on google images, I literally did think that he was Gregory Smith. I remember Gregory Smith from his Toy Soldiers role so i went to look up that movie and found that James McAvoy was NOT the actor, then went to compare pics of the two and could barely tell the difference lol

its weird, one time my boyfriend's friend said he kind of looked like james mcavoy, then i saw the seeker and said he kind of looked like gregory smith, then i realized that my boyfriend looks like a cross between the two of them!... seriously, my boyfriend should be in this video too lol. and i have pics to prove it... he's so handsome *sigh*

I <3 this video. I thought I was going crazy when I looked up James' acting credits & the Seeker wasn't on there. They look so much alike! Although, I definately find Gregory more attractive. Even though his nose is a tad bit larger, his looks are also softer and not as intimidating as James'.

the other day we were watching Atonement, and we were thinking about the actor, telling: I know him, I have seen him before, but where? And finally I said: he´s the guy from Everwood! Yes we said! haha and today I realise they just look alike! It´s a disappointment. Or maybe not haha Thanks for this great video!

Funny. I just noticed yesterday for the first time that these two look alike. Was watching Nearing Grace and it hit me. Both have very intense eyes and they even have a similar speech pattern (accents aside), a sort of talking too fast and stumbling over words thing.

This is really scary! I'm a huge fan of James McAvoy, but it was not until yesterday (when I was switching through the channels and there was an old Everwood episode on TV) that I realised how he and Gregory Smith look alike. Weird! They could be brothers! But I still prefer James McAvoy - I love his work and his accent!

Let me tell, that when I first saw James in Macbeth, I tought he was Gregory (whom I've allways use to follow in Everwood), then I realize he wasn't... then I said: maybe they are brothers, or relatives. But then no, one is Mc Avoy and the other is Smith, love them both anyway!!. But I think I prefer Gregory's work

Nice video, but I have to say I much prefer James. He looks more real, a bit more rugged and there is more character in his face, whereas Greg is perhaps a little more conventionally good looking and looks more airbrushed which doesn't do as much for me! James McAvoy you are the most beautiful man I have ever seen!

They really do look alike! I've heard people talking about them, but until I saw this slide show I didn't see it. I had to pause it in some places just so I could tell who was who! Only thing is, I prefer James with a beard, and it's harder to see how much they look alike when he has a beard.....Anyway, thanks for making this!!!

What we can see clearly is the lack of creativity of the photographers. The pictures look alike!
