arte819 have you ever thought of making a video to "lying eyes" by the eagles ? that song has a lot of visual words,i guess thats what you call them.kimie
this is wonderful, taxi came up when i was doing another search and it was so fitting because we (my high school) is having our 35 year re-union and as you might guess this was a big hit then. funny how things happen for a reason,i am anxious to see the 2nd video that you did
see me and my friend listened to this all the time with her parents when we went camping when we were lil, we loved harry chapin and i love this music still... even tho it isnt common for ppl my age but this is absolutely great music
Excellent collage of images. It fits well this song, which was a Top 40 hit when I was 12. I sometimes would leave my radio on when I went to sleep (because sometimes songs filtered into my dreams) and I vividly recall waking up between 4:30 and 5A.M. one morning and it was playing on KGBS, and the melancholy and sadness of the song was deep and overwhelming. In retrospect I realize how appropriate a time that was to hear the song. An illuminating moment for the 12-year-old I was then.
@GolfIsTheVoid I did the same thing at that age and used to wake up to the most beautiful music. I remember once when Frampton's album was really big. I used to always hear Do You Feel The Way I Do? And McArthur's Park, there was more that's all I can remember right now. Taxi was also one, and I would imagine the song in my head. It pulls my heart strings.
What a wonderful video. Taxi is one of my favorite songs and I love your choice of photography to go along with the lyrics. I really think that the photo's you chose especially reflect the dreary weayher taking place while Harry & Sue are reunited albeit only briefly. Wonderful video, just wonderful. Congratulations and be proud.
Very well done.

I really like the part where a band member sings: Baby's so high that she's skying,
Yes she's flying, afraid to fall.
I'll tell you why baby's crying,
Cause she's dying, aren't we all.
It's so beautiful and his voice is magnificent.
