Its a targa. In addition to the top and rear glass panels, the corner between the rear side window and the rear window comes to a point rather than a curve.

Sound is better on NA (non-turbos) 993's because turbos muffle the exhaust sound

I just purchased a 97 turbo, 88 Targa turbo and an O2 turbo, all of them have low miles, 22k, 46k, 30k. Just the beginning of my quiver.... I didn't care for porsche until I went to the track. That opened up the idea of owning a porsche. I drive my 08 M5 mainly but drive a 99 Ferrari 360 Modena six speed as well. I love them all equally, they all are unique and awesome in their own way. And yes I drive my cars, from the track or through wine country...l Life is grand.
