Lebron has already played in about 550 games and that not including playoffs and the olympics. Lebrons games are a lot closer together because there is no rotation like pitchers for baseball. So that less recovery time, and the damage hes doing to his knees is just as severe as to what Ryan does to his shoulder when he through 9+ inning.

@vbrascia21 yes but you don't think that when lebron hits say 33/34 his fundamentals won't be tremendously improved? yes they will. he's been in the league 5 years and already you notice a huge difference in his court vision, his shooting stroke is so much smoother, he's shooting better from the line. when he's mid 30s he'll be shooting around 48% from the field but his ft% will prob be mid to high 80s. great players adapt and lebron is great.

But that's the thing, Lebron is just like Jordan. I.m.o. they are really similar in the way they're really good all around players. Cept Jordan's got more shots than Bron. But if you see ingames, Kobe tends to make harder shots. Shots that are contested with 2-3 defenders while Lebron tends to find open areas on the court and make the easier shots. I still think Kobe is still the best in the league but It might change next year. Also, the fact that Kobe and Co. were the first o beat Cavs at home

1.) he knows he can make them and he's buried those shots in practice a million times (with or without defenders) and

2.) he's 30. he doesn't want to waste energy and risk injury by driving to the paint cause he's not as athletic (emphasis on AS ATHLETIC) as he was before. Having gasol, bynum and odom to throw the ball to in the paint doesn't hurt either. btw, prior to the acquisition of gasol in the 07-08, he was going to the rack almost all the time.
