Let me first start by saying that you played very well and your vibrato is fantastic! However, when applying to competitions, they usually decide whether or not they pick you in the first 5-10 seconds so playing an airy ballad may not be the way to go for an audition tape. Maybe that funky groove would be the way to go; just my opinion on that. Excellent playing! Keep it up!

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed your playing and your song but I just had to tell you that the first 14 seconds of the song remind me of a song written by a Mexican singer and song writer named Cuco Sanchez. The song is named "Hay Unos Ojos" it was covered by Linda Ronstadt. I like the way the song you played for the first 2 minutes developed into a soft melodic bluesy feel. Keep up the great work.

You've done a very nice and sensitive piece of guitarmusic. If I did something like this I would probably add abit more sustain or maybe some fuzz. But I don't play very much electric, lack of time I'm afraid.

I once had a Gibson Les Paul Standard, but I sold it because it was difficult to sit in the couch playing it without the strap on. The body is very heavy maybe your model would be the right one for me, but I think I'd choose another colour.

I'm trying to find the right words for this. I think you should really do more blues, Lindsay. This was a bit of a blues ballad improv. Very nicely done!  For the second part of it, reminded me of a funk blues piece mixed with a bit of texas blues. You deserve the Image of the Smurfette award for being such a dynamic blond music queen! ;D
