  • what year was this, was Pat Smear back with them when this was played?

  • Motorhead

    Queen

    Led Zepplin

    The Who

    Paul McCartney

those are just a few of the names that this band has play for or WITH.... nuff said

  • @JayduncRocknRoll

    You forgot Rush.

  • @bozhno this is also true

  • Lemmy doesnt need to do anything, testament to my gripe about music today, not everything needs some crazy dance routine, Lemmy just stands there, looking like the fucking god he is.

ROCK OUT, FEELIN GOOD, BREAK YOUR HEART, SHAKE YOUR BLOOD.

  • Where's Bass Solo?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • Sounds to me like Hawkins has a double bass haha. But Dave on the drums would have been better. I like taylor but dave is just a better drummer.

  • @KingVerdo you don't need a double pedal for that. As long as you have a single pedal thats good. And as long as you don't suck xD

  • @Slayerben3 Very true!

  • YES!!!

  • bloody hell lemy was there

  • I wish Lemmy has broken out the bass.....would be so much better than Nate, no offence lol.

  • @mmmbilly Or dual bass guitars :)

  • Lemmy is GOD

  • WTF???!!! first they played with queen(tie your mother down) and now with Lemmy???!!!! this has to be the best live show ever!!! I wanna kill myself for not being there, FF is the best band ever see..

  • dont forget they played with half of Led Zeppelin, John Paul Jones and Jimmy Page (dont know where that was)

And now Dave is in a band with John Paul Jones!

Them Crookes Vultures is the name I think.

You should check out Probot, if you haven´t already. It´s one of Dave´s side project, he worked with a lot of different musicians on that one, for example max cavalera from sepultura, and lemmy, and many others...

  • @hetfield4president

And don't forget they also played with 2/3 of Rush in Toronto! :)

The Led Zep one was on the second night at Wembley Stadium. I was there for that and also at this show. Also saw Kaki King play with Dave Grohl at their show in London at the o2 at the end of 2007

  • @BADRANG23 aha its a tad late, but motorhead opened the concert ;D making it even sexier

  • @BADRANG23 an then zeppelin at wembley

  • Lemmy is the Joe Cocker of Metal. fuckin ass kicker.

  • lol atleast wiv no bass he can have a fag :P plus nate is awesome :D love this song

  • never seen Lemmy singin' without his bass in his hands! *.*

  • Lemmy is a fu#ng God

  • @rockermerol Lemmy is THE fu#ng God

  • This song is cool!

But i think that Nate should give bass to Lemmy to play it in this song.

  • Dave's backing vocals on the "Rock out" part sound awesome

  • here and on the album, for some reason it makes me think of vicious dogs barking, which really helps with the attitude of the song

  • Probot :D

  • i wonder if nate was like shit thats lemmy , he plays bass too, hope i dont fuck up , :L

in front of my fellow bass player:L

  • Wait, isnt that the singer who wrote "Ace of Spades" ?

  • um yes thats the metal God Lemmy from the mighty Motorhead

  • yes

  • the singer of Motörhead, yes.

  • ye its lemmy m8 :) out of motorhead

  • by the way, every time he goes "rock out..." i totally expect "... with your c**k out" ^^

  • i think he looks out of place because he hasn't got his bass to play and make cool poses with, so he doesnt really know how to move or what to do at times

  • Good Point ...

  • Looks like Lemmy feels outta place and doesn't wanna be there.

  • Lol, he does kinda look outta place doesn't he?

And furthermore... Dave should play the drums!

  • A guy who says that the applause of the public are better than sex, will not trade that moment for anything.

  • That shows the greatness of Dave Grohl ... to write a song for another singer..... and the song is so in line with lemmy .... GOD BLESS YOU DAVE

  • I agree he is great but lemmy wrote the bass(whch he plays on the single) and the lyrics which he claims to of done in 10 minutes-pretty impressive hey?

  • lemmy didn´t write the lyrics .... dave did

  • Although Grohl recorded most of the instruments himself, Lemmy performed his own bass and wrote the lyrics to "Shake Your Blood." He noted, "I wrote the lyrics in about ten minutes. . . It's rock & roll, you know. It's not one of those complicated things." The song bears strong resemblance to Lemmy's style and was considered "a terrific Motörhead clone" by Adrien Begrand of PopMatters.

  • Lemmys smoking a cig. THATS AWESOME!!

  • Lemmy looks a tad lost, especially aroun 1:45

  • MOTHER FUCKING PERFECT!

  • that looks so odd seeing lemmy without a bass! :o

  • hard question but does anyone no how ta play that on drums?

it really sounds liek adouble pedal

but taylor doesnt use taht i dnt thnk

    sumone help me out please??

  • nah, dave never used or uses a double pedal, he was just very good on one pedal lol. hoped that helped

  • nahh man i alreday knew that he only used one

    still confused :L

  • check out xevifoo, he posted a video of himself playing it on the drums, he has made sound quality pretty damn good so yeah

  • nice

i nearly love you now broo!!! CHEERS MATE

  • Such a damn good song love it fukin great!!!

  • Lemmy looks really uncomfortable without his bass...

  • This is brilliant Lemmy kilmister and dave grohl are brilliant, motorhead are great too but i still think foo fighters are the best, my favorite band

  • this isnt foo fighters. This is Probot, a side project of Dave Ghrol

  • Comment removed

  • the song is from probot, but the band performing it is the foos

  • No, without Dave this would be noting.

  • Hell ya dude, Lemmy kilmister(think I spelled it wrong) from MOTORHEAD and Dave Grohl from FOO FIGHTERS. ROOOOOOOOCKKKKKKK!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • very good

  • now that foo fighter is over, i think is time for PROBOT 2,

    i think dave should call:

lemmy (again, bcause lemmy is god), phil anselmo, axl rose, sebastian bach, chris cornell...

  • axl rose is a faggot

  • i bet he had sex with more women than you, your father, your grandfather together!

  • he should practise singing more then, instead of shagging women.

  • or he can practice singing while he's shaggin' ;) hahaah

...wrong answer! Lemmy IS god! ;) :P

    Cheerz from Argentina

  • What are you talking about, Foo Fighters are over? They're not over!

I do think there should be another Probot album though, that's for sure!

  • i dont know if they are definitely over, but dave said they're gonna take a long break, maybe 10 years...

i was trying to say that dave has time to do it now...

  • Wait, this was before the pretender, was it not? I think they are not gonna take the break because last album kicked ass

  • this performance is during 2005, so yes, this is before ESPG. and they went on hiatus because they've been touring/making albums for 14 years straight, and decided they needed a break

  • the hiatus is nearly over

taylor said theyre gonna start touring and recording a new album this summer

    :)

  • I heard that on Ultimate Guitar too. I almost jumped up and down when I read that. I can't wait for a new album! I listen to Foo daily my friend....FOO 4 LIFE!!!

  • just spreading the good news :)

  • thank god. i was thinking it might be like an acdc hiatus. that would SUCK

  • no just start to record, and u betur ass i'm gonna see them live

  • HOLY SAINT FRANCIS!!! Thank god!

  • foo fighters r over?! wtf?!!

    NOOOOO!!!

  • its funny cause dave is always razzin shifflet cause he took guitar lessons and dave taught himself!@!!lol

  • haha didnt know that one xD

  • every member of the foos is very talented i dont even know why its up for debate

  • i think dave is a better drummer than a guitarist

  • thats right, but he is a really good guitarist too he has become much better than what he was in the begining ;-) guess he learns some shit from the legends ;-)

  • yeah if you look up Dave Grohl guitar solo there is a brilliant video of him shredding

  • PROBOT LIVES!!!!!

  • Lemmy's not used to singing on stage with out the base.

  • All Lemmy's "base" are belong to us!

  • lemmy rules!!!!! dude!!!

  • man hugs at the end

  • haha.

  • i think nate's one of the most underrated bassists out there right now

and this vid sounds just like the album version

  • yh i know hes like a shadow

he deserves alot of credit i think

  • He's pretty solid on the bass.. n chris is a damn good guitarist~

  • Lemmy rules!!...

  • LEMMYYYYYYYY

  • YEEEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

  • I got a man crush on Lemmy. woot.

  • Lemmy kicks ass.

  • Can I buy a DVD with this concert? and if, where?

  • should be available from most leading retailers, depending which country you`re in. jb-hifi has it in australia.... seek similar music megastore in other countries

  • fucking boss!

  • that's not rock! it's "fuckin Raaawk" This song kicks ass!!!!!

  • lemmy without his rickenbastard what a pitty!!!

  • spettacolareeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • sad to see Lemmy without his weapon

  • Taylor didn't even get Dave's part right...

But holy fuck Dave's growl is awesome.

  • Well said that man! Taylor is a very good drummer, but he's no Dave...

  • hell yeah lemmy and foo fighters >>>>>>>>>>>>>> than anyband you can name thats playing today

  • that noob is Nate Mendel, one of the greatest and understated bassists of the 90s and 00s

  • Sunny Real Day Estate is the only one I can think of at the moment.

I admit that Lemmy is an icon, but you can't steal the Foo's thunder-it's their gig

  • i'm not really stealing their thunder, just ripping their bassist. i won't lie, i'm not a foo fighters band, but i do respect them. idk, i may not like them as much because when someone says the name 'dave grohl', foo fighters isn't the first band of his taht pops into my head...

  • Hmm lets see how bout the Fire Theft?? Yea Nate started that band outta Seattle... a truly great band that holds its own... Im pretty sure you shouldnt be ripping a professional musician thats been a long standing member of one of the greatest rock bands in the last decade... and not to mention the best performers aswell... read up on your shit man..if you consider yourself a musician Id expect you to know a fellow musicians background before ripping them.

  • dude, think about what a ridiculous statement you just made. i'm supposed to know everyone's background before making an opinion on them? you'll have to refresh me on my original comments (since i stated them eons ago), but the fact that i should basically know everyone's life story before i even make an opinion is completely stupid

  • and i actually do check up on musicians, but only the ones who interest me. i mean, what sets this guy apart from teh crowd? there are millions of bassists out there, and this guy is just another face in the crowd. i'd much rather be listening to a victor wooten cd, or learning some stu hamm stuff, or reading about geddy than checking out a guy who only plays along w/ the guitar. if you want to be a top-notch bassist, you gotta be able to separate yourself w/ creativity; its what this guy lacks

  • is it just me, or is dave doing borderline death growl type vocals here? :P

  • Dave is a big Napalm Death and Sepultura fan too :P

  • Napalm Death for the win

  • WOW

this thing is great and precious!

  • wow, i was just lucky enough to find this, lol it brings back memories.... MAN THAT WAS SUCH A FUCKEN AMAZING DAY! I lovedd that song first time i heard it, lol and WoWzor the sound quality played live, is really intense, you can proper here the bass :O

  • Damn! That would hav been a gr8 show!!

  • Lemmy is the man ;b

  • I was there, it was awesome, I'll never forget it!

  • Also if people don't know, Dave released an album under the name "Probot" with a bunch of his metal idols, Lemmy being one of them.

  • thats where this songs from isn't it? the Probot album, sounds good

  • i love the fact lemmy's got a smoke in hand while singing.

  • gotta love it when dave does his heavy voice for "ROCK OUT!"

  • Oh yes, love it :D

  • Damn! Foo & Motorhead!!I love this song!!

  • the name of who?

  • hey people, what is the mane of the special man, he's called in phone in this music! i wanna know the name of him...

  • You're not making any sense!

  • it's "lemmy" from the band motorhead.

  • Pitty Lemmy's not playing Bass, would make the song move a bit!

  • who is singing?

  • Lemmy, the lead singer of Motorhead
