You might as well know Shabana Azami was abused on national television during debate by one of our top religious leaders in Delhi. He said 'I don't react to what dancing and singing prostitutes say.' Shabana almost cried on TV. Where was Congress, Sonia Gandhi, Renuka Chaudhari that time? You want me to name that person who said so? Well let me do that, it was Imam Bukhari of Jamma Masjid. Community needs freedom to progress. That is taken away from muslims by such leaders.

Today every community encourages women to think independently, to choose the way of life and career. I see women of all communities making name and fame in modeling, entertainment, sports, corporate. I've even seen adiwasi girls participating in sports and wining championships. Where are muslim girls? Poor Sania Mirza has to roam around with security guards because of Fatwa. How many Indian muslim models you see, how many girls in sports? Whats the status of middleclass muslim girl today?

Well, Im not surprised at the argument. You talk like a true LOYAL congress worker. They have ruled this country for over 60 year, still muslims are where they were in 19'th century, while all other communities have moved ahead. Reforms and modern values were encouraged in all communities but they deliberately ignore muslims from this. Reason? their religious sentiments will be hurt. Bullshit. The BJP ofcourse wants you to think that its a Muslim problem. Unless the BJPs position is more universal, where all INDIANS can see their issues as their own, the party will only function to create divide and take India further away from having a national identity.

2hamer, just go and see what happens when you try to tell a muslim family about family planning. Try to explain them the advantages of small family and quality of life the children get. These politicians want muslims to remain backword so that they can become easy vote bank.

Now, again, let me tell u family planning all AROUND THE WORLD is a function of HOW literate and wealthy a community is. The birthrate in the projects(ghettos/blacks) in the US are way above the national average. Africa, South America, and even villages across India will show you that people of all communities deal with this issue.

India is the only country where people take pride in declaring themselves BACKWARD. I hate when SP, RJD play politics on Muslims and are desperate to declare BACKWORD. I feel humiliated when I imagine these people want to give reservations to muslims. I hate when someone calls me, my family or community as RESERVED category.

My observation is that National highway development has slowed down terribly in last 5 years. Govt dont have any clear visibility on how to provide drinking water for growing population. No plan from govt on controlling the population explosion. After seeing the public anger they finally came up with a special law for anti-terror mechanism. But this law still lack in some areas. Govt also promisd 1.5 crore jobs/annum 5 yrs ago. The actual no is nowhere near. Lets discuss these issues. Anyone?

I do not have objection with relevant issues being discussed! That needs to be the subject of debate, and then let the voter decide. Playing religion against each other only damages the fabric of India. Another BJP member has said something against Christians, and is now in hiding. Im sure he too will be supported until PROVEN otherwise, and in India no one can EVER really prove anything....sooo..in essence religion again is being used to divide. Common ground needs to be found!

Exactly, then discuss what you didn't like in BJP manifesto. Every party has people who take advantage of religious sentiments. But not every party gives fast highway development, economic reforms, better law against terror. No of people Below Poverty Line (BPL) have gone up nearly 20% in last 5 years. NDA government allowed ONGC to operate outside India. If congress comes back to power they will again play politics of Reservation. Reservation in IIM, IIT and then in private company.

Also, Im sure every patriotic Indian will support the argument that Kashmir is integral part of India and should follow ONLY Indian Constitution. Nehru had selfish motives when he gave special status to Kashmir. Many in Congress too don't support Article 370. It is kind of legalising terrorism in Kashmir. So lets focus the discussion on issues such as Infrastructure and road development, Economic reforms, and National Security. Tell me what you didn't like in BJP manifesto about these issues.

Please, lets have policy based discussion. Those who don't support BJP please specify the policies in their manifesto that you don't support. I guess the popular ans will be Ram temple. They have said 100 times, Supreme Court verdict will be binding on all parties. There will always be two opinions about Common Civil Code. In fact many muslim scholars are ready for common civil code. Sure this will be debated thoroughly before implementation.

A ram temple is the answer for 300 million people that can't read or write! A uniform civil code will make sure that India does not have half of the worlds malnutriotioned children!!! Thats substance...and this is 2009!!! nice...
