My cousins are 12 kids in a small but happy house. The McCaughey's had septuplets, two of which have cerebral palsy. They have kept their life low key. Yes they were donated many things the first couple years. The Dionne quints' wrote a letter to the McCaugheys warning them about the media ruining their lives. Managed properly, the Gosselings should have what they need to get by now. I really hope the Gosselings stop the media circus instead of increasing it as Kate has been doing.

they used intra uterine insemination which is not the same as IVF. they merely had his "deposit" placed in the uterus NOT embryos which is why they had no control over how many eggs would be in the uterus or would get fertilised

Looking back it seems like this is the point where "Katie" went Hollywood. She WAS normal here - but soon after she just seemed to have less and less focused time on the kids, she started to make those faces of hers more often and I can't remember the last time I have seen them hold hands (on air). I heard from a reliable source that Jon and Kate sold those toys at a yard sale. The toys hadn't been taken out of the boxes. The kids were standing inside at the living room window and jumping up and down and screaming and crying for their toys. It was really sad.

Why is Kate acting like she's never had a nanny for the kids before? She had multiple nannies waiting for her back at home right after the sextuplets were born! From the state, and her dad's church.

Jon and Kate have been saying that they whantet one more after the first two, and they got 6! They are both paying fore the kids that they have and its not like they are living of tax money so i really dont see how this is anny of your problem? Change the channel on the tv? And btw, i really hope that your kids dont inherit your way to talk...

they used intra uterine insemination which is not the same as IVF. they merely had his "deposit" placed in the uterus NOT embryos which is why they had no control over how many eggs would be in the uterus or would get fertilised

Jon and Kate were on public assistance when they got the fertility drugs. They couldn't afford the first two, why go for another?
That's their choice for not wanting to reduce, but they shouldn't have had to make the decision in the first place.

I'll say what's "poor judgment".... it's going for REPEAT infertility treatments after having twins.....that was Kate...as she says herself, convincing Jon to go for REPEAT infertility treatments. She knows better than that, or should, she's a nurse, but obviously one that has some "poor judgment" herself. I can't believe I am even wasting my time with this. I won't watch another episode of this.

she's also neglecting her kids, so that she can sell her books and attend tea parties. Both which she requests at from 20 dollars for autographs, to 3,000 dollars for her speeches.
She's also too into her show. The public shouldn't be watching her kids as much as she allows them too. The media may mess them up in the future. And finally OTHERS help watch her kids. She barely does a thing, unless the cameras are on.
The two will probably divorce, and that's probably for the best. So really...

Most people in her position would try to save as much money as they could for their 8 children. Looking back it seems like this is the point where "Katie" went Hollywood. She WAS normal here - but soon after she just seemed to have less and less focused time on the kids, she started to make those faces of hers more often and I can't remember the last time I have seen them hold hands (on air). I used to be a big Kate fan - not so much anymore. Wonder what Dr Phil would say about them recently?

I know - it is so so sad really. I mean I now really dislike Kate. And I am not so messed up thinking I even know her from a TV show...I am not "that" lost (at least not yet! LOL) in TV Land - but you can get an idea of someone's personality from watching a show like this. Kate reminded me of myself in her beginning. The neatness rules, trying to do everything just perfect for her family, and even the way her and Jon would argue (Not proud to admit that one) but as our kids were growing (cont)

And watch them when they do their interview - compare their first season with the recent seasons. They barely look at each other. And when the other is speaking I swear it looks like the other one has puked in their mouth a little bit. Its sad because those kids are so cute. They may have money but I wonder about a family?

I don't understand why there's always the need for Kate-Bashing. From what I see, she is awsome. She's a hardworking woman whose strong and independent personality is keeping the family afloat. She's not a *total* bitch, but she's quite the bitch. Compared to Jon, who doesn't seem to sweat the little things and has a sense of humour about most matters, her attitude is just completely irritating, always griping at everyone for not adhering to the lists she's prepared...for eating non-organic whatever. I'm sure they both get on one another's nerves, though. And 8 kids would piss you off a lot of the time.

I heard from a reliable source that Jon and Kate sold those toys at a yard sale. The toys hadn't been taken out of the boxes. The kids were standing inside at the living room window and jumping up and down and screaming and crying for their toys. It was really sad.
