@ruzickaw lol you should go back a few hundred yeas where there is no tv, their singing is a historic node and poem in high pitch to dramaticize a narration of a story, a storytelling or historical documentation in a narrator's point of view in a style of songs.
this is an entertainment culture preserved long before 900AD, old people today still love it, but sadly young ppl don't appreciate it due to western media entertainment influences. (what i meant is chinese ppl in general)
