It's disappointing to hear him repeat that ridiculous "Conan started it" argument. And I'm surprised he doesn't know that advertisers (and therefore networks) don't give a fuck about his mother. Whenever you hear about some show's amazing "20 million viewers," it's just empty, attention-getting bullshit. The people in charge know that those numbers contain a disproportionate amount of irrelevant 50+ viewers. Leno was not, among other things, the raging success he claimed to be.
