two questions: one- what about hydration? do you use a camelback or canteens, etc? and two- dont your pistol mags get in the way of drawing some of your ar mags? I would recommend moving them on the "weak" side of your interceptor. thank you for your service!
I have a simular set up myself, AR, AK, Rem870, My choice in firearms was the Beretta M9/92... Plus some others S&W357 Snub, 30/30, .22lr as well... I'm glad to see load outs like yours, mine is a bit different... I have chest rigs, drop legs both pistol/dump pouch. My choice of knife was the Gerber Prodogy... Oh make sure you try all your mags in AR/AK i found some that just don't work, and that would suck to find out in a fire fight... Very well done...

@RebelliousTurtle oh okay. Funny thing, I had been wondering for a couple of years why I would see soldiers with those bags, thanks for solving the mystery. :)
@RebelliousTurtle Way to maintain courtesy! Too many super high speed delta bravos on youtube. Honest and direct answer with no added db comment! Godspeed!
Cool merc getup, and I'm sure you'd have no problem looting stores and warehouses for canned food the first few months or maybe even a year. What happens when that's gone though? I'd be looking to own land, cheap and reliable farming equipment, seed stocks, fertilizer, storage equipment, etc. Buying cool guns and ammo is much easier than learning how to live sustainably, which is I think why I see so many videos of people buying cool guns and ammo and not so many of people living sustainably xD
@SpaceBaseJump Im not sure if you are being negative in your comment so ill i give you that. but let me make one thing clear, I am not a mercenary, I am a Soldier a guardian of Freedom and the American way of life. i love this country. its not perfect by far but still its my country and i will do any and everything to protect its people and the life style. the life style and freedom that you live and enjoy each and everyday.
@SpaceBaseJump Im not saying learning the skills that you mentioned is not important, just rember that not every american is a saint, all im saying is what good is having farming equipment, seed stocks, fertilizer, storage equipment. if you dont have the tools to protect it.
@RebelliousTurtle Not being negative per say, just sorta wondering out loud about the disproportionate amount of videos in either category and how that comes to be; through culture, media, mindset, etc. I agree both are important as well. I want to know how to survive on my own and I want to know how to protect what is mine. My worry is that everyone will know how to protect things but no one will know how to MAKE things. I know I couldn't build a gas engine or solar panel if I wanted to xD
@RebelliousTurtle Straight up, I agree with you. I'm just commenting on the fact that when it comes to WROL/SHTF youtube videos and webpages, 5% have to do with sustainable technology and living, and 95% seem to be all about arming yourself to the nutsack and then some xD
@JDenz12 that really isnt that much gear at all. In the marine corps we run with all of that shit plus kevlars (helmets), 20 flack on with sapi plates and a 10-20lb daypack on too
@xDIEHARDxUSMCx Thank you DH. for people like you and i, what i have on is nothing compared to a full combat load, this is so light. hell even if i was wearing my assault pack it still wouldnt be a prob for me.
I'd route the tube through your vest loops on the back and then go under your arm and back up to through the front loops close to your mouth with the tube pointing up. You can avoid snagging the tube on things, have the tube prepositioned close to your mouth and will avoid leaking from the mouth piece. Praying that you never need this, but it's smart to have it.
I really like the setup you have going on man, especially the AR. I prefer 9mm myself due to the cheaper cost for training ammo. My G17 can run steel case like there's no tomorrow.
Good video. But if I may make a couple tweaks this is the way not to dress. 50 or 60 lbs of gear is not how u travel. Being a moving target is not cool in my book. Rule out cars or trucks. So there for ur fucked with a heavy load. Side arm an good rifle is ok. But remember loud noise is a dead give away of home base. Bow an arrows is ur best bet to hunt the rifle an side arm is to fight. To all those ppl stocking up to stay were ur at NOT WISE!!!! If u plan on staying in one spot kill ur self
Awesome video brother. You and I are on the same page as far as weapon and equipment selection goes. I'm not a big fan of the GI knee pads. Great if they work for you, but I have bad memories of them cutting off circulation if thet were on tight enough not to fall off, or lose enough not to cut-off circlation, then fall off, lol. The AGOG is awesome. Do you have a 16" or 20" upper? Love the armor plates. I got mine from securityprousa 10"x12" level IV plates for about $275 each.
cool loadout and all, but in a SHTF/ teotwawki if you go out onto the streets looking like a govt/military member either they are gonna arrest/kill you for thinking ur UA. or rebel citizens are gonna take you out.(depending on what type of shtf it is)
you might want to just have enough equipment to get you to your location....have more supply there. If you have to travel far...all that stuff is gonna get heavy...especially w/ food tent? sleeping bag? etc.
also you could have a pack with more ammo food water , you have everything on the front of you not always the best when hitting the ground hard as fuk under fire but leaves you room for a pack
excellent kit brother. impressive you actually have the armor inserts/plates. when shit goes down i'm calling you..lol...i've got the basic kit along with a total of 30 plus guns to choose from, but my go to rifle is either my m4 or ak,
All I can say if your going to spend the money on this stuff is take the time to get good with it ! Wear it, practice with it, spend at least 4 or 5 hours at the range with your weaponsa month. GET GOOD WITH THEM ! Take tactical classes, etc, etc. None of this stuff does you any good if you dont know how to actually use it !
You will have time to get all the gear ready. You will see early warning signs. Most likely the power grid will fail or you will see a slow degradation of society. IF the SHTF faster than that well, you should be ready in 10 minutes for whatever. Good luck !
Good video and excellent gear. But to put that on during a SHFT and not be shot dead by police and/or military patrolling the streets, the US would have to be in dire situation with military and police gone completely with no govt of any kind. Which I doubt will ever happen, but it's good to be prepared.
@masterchief3737 I have that gear myself. Police would not be working, they would be with their family defending their home. I should know I am one. Im also an OathKeeper. Good luck
Hey man, nice gear. Good job with weapons, ammo systems and the different profiles are a good idea. But you gotta get a hydration system brother. A Camelbak or even a canteen, it'd be a shame to be running around with several thousand dollars of guns, ammo, and gear with no water to stay hydrated.
@andrewvanrhoberts Thats great, i think i would keep my rifle semi auto, just keep in mind its not only how many rounds you can put down range, but how many of those rounds you can put on target.
@RebelliousTurtle You have a good point there, that one Finnish guy called Simo Hayha killed over 500+ soviets in the Winter War by using a 9mm submachine set to semi auto and a Mosin Nagant bolt action rifle. shot placement and accuracy would be very important. Also i would try to keep my distance from people in shtf situation because there would be a lot of snipers. i would try to keep under the radar the best i could
@MrDarkwolf1995 they arent really that expensive, maybe a few hundred bucks more than an AR15. I got an msar e4 for 1400. it is awesome and about the same price as a good ar15
@MrDarkwolf1995 The steyr aug type design is really simple. I find it much easier to maintain than an ar15. I got rid of my two AR15s and just got two MSAR E4s and I am really happy with them. you also have adjustable gas settings and can swap barrels out in 5 seconds.

Really? Can I ask why? .308 is by no means a bad choice, but with the right ammo/weapon 5.56 and 6.5mm Grendel can do just about as well as .308 in the sniping role. Of course, with the latter ammo availability is a big issue, but nonetheless.
Love the SOCOM II, but of those two I'd personally prefer an AR-10 for sniping. SOCOM II has such a short barrel for a .308 that you're losing a decent amount of long range capability.
see now i am having a hard time deciding which intermidiate rifle to choose. Ak, Ar, Msar e4, Mini, ect. just can not choose. so many choices. You have both an ak and an ar which do you like more and why???
