Re: the comment below, Yarrow did make a pass at a teenaged girl, and was convicted and sentenced for it. At the time he made this statement: "I'm deeply sorry for what I've done. I've hurt myself deeply, my wife and the people who love me." You can endlessly attack people for crimes committed decades ago, or you can forgive, accept that someone is penitent, and move on. His probably-drunken actions almost 40 years ago don't negate the good he did through his music and songwriting. God bless.
@Nilsosmar Thanks. We're in the moment of hating child molestors and that is understandable. But aren't we also right in hating war-mongers and death-merchants, which, all told, are MUCH more dangerous than your individual child molestor. Assuming that 14 year olds are innocent. But who cares about culture and history?

Peter Yarrow served three months for trying to rape a fourteen year old in 1970. Jimmy Carter pardoned him as Carter was leaving office in 1981. Yarrow was married to a Democrat senator's niece at the time. Mary Travers never condemned Yarrow or his actions. Sorry she's dead, but she's an enabler of a child molester.
You don't know from where you talk. The judicial dealt with it, and it in't up to Mary or you to judge...Peter did wrong, and paid for it in a way that we prob. will never know. Throw your rock if you are totally without fault. To call Mary an "enabler" implied he helped him to commit the crime. Rethink your choice of word, buddy..you who are "perfect"....
