its a lonngg story to this movie. but long story short. kajol nd shahrukh r bestfriends. but kajol falls in love with him. but then shahrukh falls in love with rani who's a new girl in the school. so kajol moves away nd rani nd shahrukh marry nd rani dies while givin birth. they named the daughter anjali (which is also kajols name in the movie) nd rani writes a letter for anjali on her 8th birthday.. which is givin to her by her grandma. *too long i need 2 mess. =)

continuing... sooo anjali is out to find kajol nd make her dad happy again because rani knew how kajol felt about shahrukh. nd then they find each other at camp shahrukh falls in love with kajol but she's suppose to get married to slaman khan. then in the end salman khan gives kajol to shahrukh nd they live happily ever after. *well tht wasnt sure. hopes this wasnt a wste of time for yu. =)

get a beginner's hindi book. they present everything very well in class form with lessons and all. the "Teach Yourself" brand is very goo and you can find them at Border's. They have a dictionairy in the back, both Eng-Hindi and vice versa. If you get that book it also teaches you to read&write Dvanagri, and though most people skip those lessons you'll learn spoken language, grammar, etc. twice as fast if you can read
