look i know which game is the best it is both. because they both have goods and bads to them. runescape has gotten better with graphics and wow is now free to play up till lvl 20 so in my words for both being a free to play mmorpg they both win. but in conclusion i am going to have to give the edge to wow for now being able to play an unlimited free trial aka F2P.

by the way one thing you must remember and think about when reviewing a game, the interface, how everything is laid out, how the inventories are and how easy they are to work and all that good stuff, which i think Runescape wins that department. just cause its so easy to work in all the different interfaces.

@metalqueenofnothing what programs ? all you need is a browser with java installed to play. And so many rs players use other programs like for example "swiftkit" because it has a lot of features for the dedicated player.

RS is the most boring game I have ever played, I hate the constant grind and the community is full with 12 year old boys running around calling each other noobs. The first thing i saw when i loaded up the game was " go to this website to buy gold!!!!" that spammed up my chat box and within 20 minutes i got called a noob because I Don't grind skills 24/7 and i prefer to play the games content instead of having some program do it for me.

I've noticed that the people who say runescape is better never have actually played wow past the trial. So that tells you something there. I think the community is a big part of it though. Runescape's community age is anywhere between 9 and 16 and wow's is 14+. Wow is definitely a more mature game and I totally agree with logileksen. Plus, in runescape, it's all about who has the most cash or highest skills, which isn't fun at all :/

However, I was right about the age and the maturity difference between both communities. RuneScape IS 9-about 16. i've played rs for 5 years and wow for 3 years and wow is better. runescape was fun but now updates becoming more stupid and in the game it takes you like 30minutes to fine something to do because it gets boring and repitive. and WOW the game is harder more mature but it is become slightly more easier as in strategic wise.
I don't see why there's even any point in making these other than to just make a video. Wow is better no doubt about it. But just because I say wow is better doesn't mean RS is a pos. I think both are good but one you pay for and get extra while the other is mostly free. You CAN lvl up to 20 for free on wow but RS offers more depth for free members.
A bunch of my friends play RS and all they do is bot, scam, and get the new gear that is released. I play WoW because I find the players more mature, to an extent, and because there isn't as much botting. It is more players that are willing to have fun, and players who take the game seriously if they want.
Rs sucks f2p but p2p rules its addictive. I played wow for 2days and it sucks the only thing i liked about it was how many people were there and the variety but you have to admit if you were in a contest and you were asked which guy is gay and saw a rs man and a wow man which one do you think looks more gay lol thats what I though wow fanboys

World of Warcraft is the worst game I have ever played first it's a ripoff 2nd you need to install ctap and RuneScape you can play for free the graphics are getting better in RuneScape than world of Warcraft RuneScape you can do much more you can have more weapons and armor than WoW so RuneScape simply is the better game
@xMEAxMegaDeathx in RS you get 6 armor sets re colored and about 4 other sets and hardly and wepons. WoW you have tier 1-12, season 1-9 or something, dungeon sets from running low level instances, gray begginer swords to swords that glow with fire or make you hear voices and have souls floating around you, and stop bitching about paying and installing
I got to 1-85 in 2-3 weeks in WoW... wasnt that hard... and WoW is super awesome your never bored you have a ton of stuff to do pvp and pve. the graphics,combat,and the size of it all is what makes it win =/

I've played many years of both. I think runescape is a great start if you're new to mmorpgs, but WoW is far more advanced with an incredible developer team. They obviously pull in a lot more cash, so they can afford to make drastic changes and come out with amazing expansions.
Graphics? Who cares. If you're a real gamer, then you know that it's all about the gameplay and when it comes to game play they both have their pros, but I find WoW to be much more complex, though I don't play it anymore.

(Example: GameInformers) World Of Warcraft gets bashed and made fun of more than almost any game on the planet. cons: rather expensive, SOME quests are bland, if you are 1 faction you cant go into certain places, and thats about it.
Lots of people will have their own opinion. It just depends on what you are into, if you want to not have to train forever and get into a good pvp system, then I think wow is for you.
But if you want to have a steady amount of content to do and don't need to do pvp, then I think Runescape is for you.
This is just like the Xbox 360 vs. PS3 and the Mac vs. PC, no one will ever win.

RS combat sucks lol but the features in it are cool. Clans in RS are similar to WoW's Guilds. But RS has Clan Citadels that are owned by the clan itself. Guilds dont have it. Rs also has abunch of skills and Player-Owned houses. More F2P features. But WoW has a better lvling system, larger map, Group Parties. So there both cool!
@colaguy32 sure you're sitting down in a chair to play the game. But when it comes to actual combat and WoW you do click/press buttons yes, but you also have to move around instead of stand there and watch your avatar auto attack an enemy like in RS. If WoW had things like guild housing and player housing then the actual game world would be empty and people would just sit in their houses all day. WoW has lots of 'skills' that are very useful and can be used to create unique items
@superwowman100 Ik there skills can create "unique" items but just not as many as the amount as RS skills offer. RS skills Offer alot. But what you want out of the skill depends on the one you work on. Woodcutting gives logs for firemaking or for good money. Smithing you can smith exspensive armour that can be sold. Crafting..well dont get me started on how much that offers. But anyway I like wow. But the problem with a game that has a Class system is that you cant use all items. But i like both
@colaguy32 There are alot of the same things with WoW. From my expirience with crafting in RS it felt a little tedious and boring, like mining for example you constantly click a node then loot the ore off the floor then click so you're in a cycle of click,loot,click,loot..while in WoW you have to travel all over the place to get materials for certain items..some materials can be expensive or hard to come by which actually gives you a sense of acheivement once the item is made.
@IGCEntertainmant Honestly, after level 100 or so in combat and 50 is everything else, there is almost no sit and click whatsoever. And, thats maybe 30% of the game. If you have ever tried dungeoneering, you would know there is a lot of runescape that isnt sit and click. Also, if you think about it everyone would agree they would rather have more content to play with than play 2 months ecause, after you max everything, atleast you dont have to make another acc or do the same thing over again
runescape pros: quests have storys, interesting enemys
runescape cons: a million skills to grind, and for what reason? so that you can do a quest or use an item that your probably not gonna use anyway?, gets boring, WORST GRAPHICS EVER!, the clan system is way more complicated then it needs to be, pvp sucks ass, pve is boring and tedeus, boring armor, and overall, boring game

RS is the most boring game I have ever played, I hate the constant grind and the community is full with 12 year old boys running around calling each other noobs. The first thing i saw when i loaded up the game was " go to this website to buy gold!!!!" that spammed up my chat box and within 20 minutes i got called a noob because I Don't grind skills 24/7 and i prefer to play the games content instead of having some program do it for me.

I've noticed that the people who say runescape is better never have actually played wow past the trial. So that tells you something there. I think the community is a big part of it though. Runescape's community age is anywhere between 9 and 16 and wow's is 14+. Wow is definitely a more mature game and I totally agree with logileksen. Plus, in runescape, it's all about who has the most cash or highest skills, which isn't fun at all :/

However, I was right about the age and the maturity difference between both communities. RuneScape IS 9-about 16. i've played rs for 5 years and wow for 3 years and wow is better. runescape was fun but now updates becoming more stupid and in the game it takes you like 30minutes to fine something to do because it gets boring and repitive. and WOW the game is harder more mature but it is become slightly more easier as in strategic wise.

I don't see why there's even any point in making these other than to just make a video. Wow is better no doubt about it. But just because I say wow is better doesn't mean RS is a pos. I think both are good but one you pay for and get extra while the other is mostly free. You CAN lvl up to 20 for free on wow but RS offers more depth for free members.

A bunch of my friends play RS and all they do is bot, scam, and get the new gear that is released. I play WoW because I find the players more mature, to an extent, and because there isn't as much botting. It is more players that are willing to have fun, and players who take the game seriously if they want.

I got to 1-85 in 2-3 weeks in WoW... wasnt that hard... and WoW is super awesome your never bored you have a ton of stuff to do pvp and pve. the graphics,combat,and the size of it all is what makes it win =/

I've played many years of both. I think runescape is a great start if you're new to mmorpgs, but WoW is far more advanced with an incredible developer team. They obviously pull in a lot more cash, so they can afford to make drastic changes and come out with amazing expansions.
Graphics? Who cares. If you're a real gamer, then you know that it's all about the gameplay and when it comes to game play they both have their pros, but I find WoW to be much more complex, though I don't play it anymore.

lol I like both. I play both. But I must admit. Out of all the major gaming companys and the major reviewers. (Example: GameInformers) World Of Warcraft gets bashed and made fun of more than almost any game on the planet. Some of these review companys talk worst shit bout WoW then what u major WoW players are doing to every other mmo. So atleast RS and all the other mmo's arent in THAT position. 8 races, epic citys, pets do more than just follow you, great story, instead of just being a person that fights monsters, you are in a freaking war fighting off another natiion, better armor, leveling is less tedeus and much easier, you can have more than 1 character on 1 account, FANTASTIC PVP, etc. best mmo ever.
cons: rather expensive, SOME quests are bland, if you are 1 faction you cant go into certain places, and thats about it.

Lots of people will have their own opinion. It just depends on what you are into, if you want to not have to train forever and get into a good pvp system, then I think wow is for you.
But if you want to have a steady amount of content to do and don't need to do pvp, then I think Runescape is for you.
This is just like the Xbox 360 vs. PS3 and the Mac vs. PC, no one will ever win.

@colaguy32 you dont use a spell to mine and you dont use a spell for any profession in WoW except for archaeology and fishing... in WoW you have lots of moving around in PvP and PvE..runescape is LITERALLY just sit and click I've played RS and I found myself sitting and right-clicking the enemy constantly and all I saw my character doing was standing there...poking the enemy and hitting '0's

RS combat sucks lol but the features in it are cool. Clans in RS are similar to WoW's Guilds. But RS has Clan Citadels that are owned by the clan itself. Guilds dont have it. Rs also has abunch of skills and Player-Owned houses. More F2P features. But WoW has a better lvling system, larger map, Group Parties. So there both cool!

But when it comes to actual combat and WoW you do click/press buttons yes, but you also have to move around instead of stand there and watch your avatar auto attack an enemy like in RS. If WoW had things like guild housing and player housing then the actual game world would be empty and people would just sit in their houses all day. WoW has lots of 'skills' that are very useful and can be used to create unique items

@superwowman100 Ik there skills can create "unique" items but just not as many as the amount as RS skills offer. RS skills Offer alot. But what you want out of the skill depends on the one you work on. Woodcutting gives logs for firemaking or for good money. Smithing you can smith exspensive armour that can be sold. Crafting..well dont get me started on how much that offers. But anyway I like wow. But the problem with a game that has a Class system is that you cant use all items. But i like both

From my expirience with crafting in RS it felt a little tedious and boring, like mining for example you constantly click a node then loot the ore off the floor then click so you're in a cycle of click,loot,click,loot..while in WoW you have to travel all over the place to get materials for certain items..some materials can be expensive or hard to come by which actually gives you a sense of acheivement once the item is made.

If you have ever tried dungeoneering, you would know there is a lot of runescape that isnt sit and click. Also, if you think about it everyone would agree they would rather have more content to play with than play 2 months ecause, after you max everything, atleast you dont have to make another acc or do the same thing over again
