Yea but in a real fight I wouldn't just hold the stick out. I'll be swinging it with all my might and probably break your hand if you try to grab it...

why not... a fight starts normaly at largo range and ends on the ground... i wan't to hit the head, not the hand or the stick....
balintawak was originally designed for hand-to-hand combat, the stick is only a training tool

no one is going to give up their stick that easily in a real fight...
try to hold the stick, when i will disarm...
