I just have one question, and in no way am I trying to be offensive when I ask this. When you say 'Football', you're talking about what Americans would call 'Soccer', right? I just wanted to make sure.
So i Wish you, in retrofit and lookback - a very fine Chrismass -and a very gentle 2010 - what a strange number - but then, 2011 is more funny and 2012..2013..2014.. and hey, 3000 is nice, too
words can't even begin to explain the unbelievable amounts of respect i have for you. i could listen to your stories and your voice all day, good sir, and never tire of it!
please keep uploading videos, they're perfect to listen to on a rainy day. well, anytime in general really, but during a rainy day especially!
your existence is MARVELOUS
have you ever tried playing any instruments yourself?
Brings back a lot of memories, Peter. We were respectful because of the sanctions imposed, the cane, detention and lines at school, clipped ear or whack at home. No bad thing. You went to CNS, now a comprehensive, but then the best boys grammar school in the area. I was sent to that private grammar school on a council grant as the CNS was over subscribed. I always had school dinners at 5 bob a week, and always got my moneysworth (second helpings) despite being skinny as a rake.
Thanks for the stories, Peter. I would love to hear more stories from your childhood and your life as a young man. And don't worry about the videos being too long. The long ones are my favorites. :)
you are a very talented man, you should be so proud of what your doing here on youtube. It is great to see a person of an elderly age influence this young community so greatly. I have great respect for your thoughts and opinions.
I've been trying to figure out for years how you've lived to the age of 82. Now I understand ... It was that 16 miles round-trip bike ride to school a few years back!!
Thanks, and I'll try to figure out how I can take advantage of that info...!
I would like to hear more. And don't worry so much about how long the videos are. Not everything has to be 3 minutes. I could easily listen to a nice 20 minute story about your life in the 30-50's.
agreed! i love listening to ur stories! ppl ur age have so much to share with the world that noone has yet experienced! i thought it was much entertaining =) thanks for the great bedtime story!
I don't know how accurate it is but I've found that when I talk of "my old days" The road to school has gotten longer and the weather more harsh as I've gotten older. Too it seems I recall myself as being much more heroic in my memory than in fact. But your diarrhea story is the best I've ever heard.
No one could ever top that! I sleapt on the floor in the bedroom. Bedroom?! I sleapt in the hall! Hall?! You had a hall?! From these conversational one-upmanships legend is born! LOL
peter, i remember you once talking about rabbiting with your father, i was just wondering did you ever fish? its something that Ive always enjoyed, was interested to see if you had any tales of fishing adventures.....? thanks!
Your videos are never too long, I just sit back, close my eyes or put my nose into a game of solitaire and get swept away with whatever story you're telling. Anyone who doesn't like your stories is goofy. :P
Peter, I've been a fan of yours for over a year now but I must say it was a bit of a jolt to hear the guy who reminds us all of grandpa telling an Artie Lange-esque crap-your-pants story. Mind you, I'm not saying it dosen't make for damn compelling viewing. Stay strong granddad.
Good video peter. Its amazing to me how I remember 50 years ago so well yet occasionally cant recall what I had for lunch. A lot of what you talked about is very familiar to me. 5*
nice vid. I miss my grandfather so much, but I imagine he would be old enough if he were still living to be your father because my dad was born in 1930. Neither are still living but I sure miss my grandfather's stories. I would love to hear more.
I miss hearing my grandfather telling me stories "from back in the day" and your stories remind me of them. I will most definitley be looking forward to more stories from you.
Love your stories Peter...my mom was born 1926 & for the last few years I get her to tell her stories & now I tape them. (she's finally gotten used to the camera) LOL
It is such a treat that you share yours with the world! ;)
Well I didn't see the last video-but i want to now!
But I loved your intro and the music. And I always love hearing about your life. I really should talk to my dad more to be honest. I've learnt more about his childhood from the introduction to his recently published cookbook than I'd known all my life!
Topic of conversation next time I go out for a meal with my dad will be about his childhood, thanks to you.
I did ask him about the cars he's owned last time, I just wish I had it all on tape!!!
@M4x3dPK3r Any other youtubers have similar experiences of a farmer who enjoys ploughing up boys asses? Share them here, don't let those farmers get away with fiddling with your own manure!!
Exactly, bet he sowed them in your ass. I can't imagine the humiliation of sitting on the toilet with the farmers sperm dribbling out your red bum. Poor you

the brits bombed germany first. After that the germans bombed britain thats why after the war the allied court couldn't persecute the soldiers.
this was prior to ww2
