Hi, I have a problem while playing CTR, maybe you can help me. The point is that i followed all the steps, the game works pretty good, but when I fire a rocket or when Ai fires rockets I get few fps and the game starts to run very slow until the rocket hit the target or w/e it hits. I`m thinking this can be solved by configuring the emulator's graphics. If I play it on "Nice" settings the graphics are good though i have the fps problem on rockets and on the rainy map when I get into tunnels.

@andreitoob If I play it on the "Fast" settings, the game works perfectly even on the rainy map and also when firing rockets but the graphics are shitty. The rocket's tail of fire is black and so is the fire that comes out of the statues in the rainy map. My laptop configuration is pretty good: 4gb RAM, intel core i3- 2310M CPU 2.10 Ghz, video cards Intel HD Graphics approx 1696Mb... I think I need to configure the emulator for better options but don`t know how .. can some1 help??

To fix the missing .dll file you need to google zlib1.dll and click the second lick (emuforums) there should be a download link in the first post. then just move the dll file you just downloaded to the emulator folder. and it works :D

So i'm browsing around for this game. I'm mostly finding bin/cue files. This works as i use Run Iso, but there are certain sound files at certain scenes missing (i.e. beating oxide, there's no music when he talks). Also, when i beat him, my char is stuck out of bounds, so i basically can't save.

I used the file you put in the vid by Jackaz but no seeds. Think you can send me the file or upload or something ?

Zeb89 I did exactly what this video shows me what to do but when I use run ISO & goto where I've extracted the CTR image to run the game it doesn't come up to be loadable & when I try to use all files & it shows it does nothing but shows black screen & I realised that the real ISO files icons that actually represents ISO files is there any other torrents that you play CTR using ISO files? if you don't know what a ISO file looks like look up in google images ISO file icons.

Yes I am also having a problem. I tried to rip my CD to an ISO in order to play the game better, but I cannot get it to run. All it does is say Crash Team racing with a black background and it runs some sounds from the game. It gets stuck...

@gootch420 I know what you have to do to stop the music from playing outside of game. You have to click on the emulator and press the escape key. Then you exit out of the emulator another time and your good.

for me, running an ISO runs slow

running the original game in the CD rom, is just as slow

mounting the image via daemon tools and running CD-ROM using the default CD rom plugin on the Daemon Virtual Drive (Z for me) runs everything pretty much perfectly.
