  • Well rendered, Scottie! All the best from Norway!

  • People really should not really complain.

I paid £9 each way from LBA - pisa, £18 for a return flight plus £12 admin fee, so £30 return.

If I had used a pre-paid mastercard I could have brought that down to just £18 return.

Typically a flight like this would cost £80 return from any other airline.

And this is not an isolated case, last june I travelled from manhester to majorca for £30 return, and LBA to Olso/Stockholm skavska for a mere £20 return.

    Cheaper than the national express.

  • 225% extra on the actual ticket price, and that doesnt include food and the saving margin compared to ba shrinks to allmost nothing

  • cannot beat taking the piss out of ryanair to the tune of the sam song :)

  • SUCKS ASS HELL!!!!!!!!

  • @superbike571 You sound articulate enough to be American. I'm not really sure....what you said.....does that mean it's good or bad? haha fartknocker.

  • The finnish aviation department says that you shouldn't fly ryanair because they haven't paid their refunds!

  • Parody songs are bent

  • @fookfocketyfookfook

haha. And so are the clowns who slag them!

  • @Scotlanz boom what a comeback

  • 5 people work for ryanair.

  • I love Ryanair, it s cheaper than this fucking other airlines, or the stupid trains!

  • nice one scottie

  • A Ryanair parody song to to tune of the sam song. This really made my day. Well Done!

  • Its true Ryanair is crrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaapppppppppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I had no prpblems with Ryanair when flying with them

  • im goin to step on 1 later!!!wish me luck xD

  • @666nothingleft

    Good Luck!!

    Scottie.

  • If you want tourism to fly in Ireland, you need to take out the cunts that are making life awkward for tourists coming to Ireland...Ryanair..,baggage charges.....etc,becasue they wont come back again.

  • Personally i would never fly with Ryanair,i had problems with their staff,a shower of complete tight arse bitches,i always tell my relatives to fly on Aerlingus,i find that the girls in Aerlingus have more class than the cold hearted bitches in ryanair,Aerlingus have much better customer services than ryanair, and they dont have these secret charges,if Ryanair didnt exist then Aerlingus would be alot better, they would not have to compete for prices, ryanair are sacraficing Irish hospitality...

  • top class song.......made up a song one night.....check out .....kerry hunt song

  • Yeah Buddy, just great stuff, like your other videos.

Also cool is for example Christmas truce.

Well, stay funny and continue with what you're doing!

Oh, by the way: Why don't you make a funny video of the weaking of the Euro.

    And celtic buddy:

I wanna tell ya that I traveled to Scotland (incl. John O'Groats + Orkney's) twice and will travel to Eire - Dublin - for a couple of days next march.

Free Alba, Free Eire, Hail to ya Celtic Buddies!

Best wishes from Bavaria, Southern Germany!

  • lol o'leary, scottie is funny

  • Is it something wrong on my eyes or is it the video?? lol

  • This sounds very similar to the Facinating Aida - Cheap Flights as in lifted lines and canned laughter

  • @timandru

Hmmm...canned laughter, absolutely (try watching your favourite TV sitcoms without it. They suck.)

Lifted lines - NOT GUILTY m'lord. I wrote my song in Lanzarote over a year ago without having heard any other songs about Ryanair and certainly at least a year before I heard of "Cheap Flights". I've a suspicion that I'm the injured party here!

    Thanks for the comment though.

  • @Scotlanz - dillie keane here (Fascinating Aida). Just to reassure you, we started writing the song in May 2009 on a trip to Macedonia, finished that autumn, it took another month to arrange and we started singing it at pre-Christmas parties. It's perfectly possible for lots of people to have the same idea! I love your song, the line about the toilet paper is inspired. And since so many people have - er - dubious experiences with Ryanair, we're bound to write the same things.

  • @dilliekeaneherself - Hi Dillie, thanks very much for your comment. The songs are so totally different that no one could possibly accuse anyone of anything. I love your feckin' song and your attitude and your singing talent. The injured party comment was only a knee jerk reaction to the bollix who accused me. Of course I am jealous of your 2 million hits and the radio play you're getting on RTE...that's what I was after! Have a look at my song Hush little Boys, but I doubt if you could cover it!

  • @Scotlanz - oh don't worry, I didn't take the injured party remark seriously at all. What a nice reply, thanks for your comments. I tell you, to have a YouTube hit at my great age is a lark and a half. Got a bit to go before we catch up with the Conchords though! I'm off now to listen to Hush Little Boys. Yes, I hear we are getting quite a bit of play on RTE. Good luck, and I'll keep a look out for your stuff in the future.

  • this song is made by a she male its shite

  • Hi Scotty, glad to hear you are still gigging in Lanz. I would recommend to anyone that they drop in to one of your gigs, really funny show.

  • @chalkitdown1 How's it going? I'm actually living in Dublin now and looking for gigs in Ireland so if you know of anywhere that might suit give me a shout!

  • @Scotlanz let us know where you are gigging, will pass it on.

  • @chalkitdown1 Howya, I'm in The Stag's Head, Ashbourne tomorrow at 10pm. Sat 14th.

  • @Scotlanz u sud try get in tought with the laughter lounge or vicer street ur side splitingly funny

  • @spudsucker Thanks a lot pal. I'm trying my best at the moment, but in Dublin it seems to be who you know, not what you can do.

  • @Scotlanz even try get gigs in a few small pubs around town it cud help

  • I've never had a problem with the crew of Ryanair, the planes or anything. It's a joke everyone. Why do people complain oh they aren't as cheap as Aer Lingus and about a whole load of other shit. To the people who are complaining about this video and Ryanair get a life. In Scotlanz description of the video it clearly says God bless Ryanair. If you want to be treat like royalty fly first class with Virgin Atlantic. Ryanair are making it possible for families to fly abroard on a low budget.

  • crackin video

  • ive booked fligths to morocco for 20 pound return, no checked in

    baggage. why do people complain?

  • So true, robbery in the skys

  • I´m angry with people who are complaining about RYANAIR. Ryanair has the chepest flights in Europe! If you want to pay more, you can, choose another company. If you can´t flight with RYANAIR, it´s your problem. There are people who KNOWS how to fly with RYANAIR, and there are those who doesnt know, and they´re keep complaining.

  • Couldn't agree more! If you read my description, you'll see that I have no problem with Ryanair. The song is a piece of fun, not a serious indictment of Ryanair.

  • @Scotlanz I understand :) it wasn´t about you, It was about people who are keep complaining about ryanair, and keep flying with this company too. Sorry if I touched you, I wrote it wrong :)

  • @mynosferatu the song is shit and made by a she male ryanair are ok

  • could somebody post the lyrics please????

    Greetings!

  • This is great, Ryanair are cheap, as long as you don't mind paying for extra, 'non-essentials'.

The only reason I don't fly with them is because they don't treat their employees very nicely.

  • The big trouble is they hire most of their personnell from a leasing agency. Those people mostly have very poor working conditions far below European standards.

  • @orangeline23 you know someone out of those poor bastards it seem. Very true indeed :-(.....i hate ryanair for that as well

  • @AstroChickenII It is true, we flew with Ryanair last august in 09 and they were asking people if they wanted to buy scratchcards, etc. We only flew to Dublin so didn't need the loo ! Everything had to be done on the internet.

  • A fabulous reply from Christy Moore to a guest book entry on his website:

Christy's reply...on the back of the treatment meted out to you by cold hearted Ryanair I hereby ban Michael whatever-his-name is from all my gigs...if I catch him at a gig of mine I will immediately assemble a peoples court and have him sentenced to an eternity aboard Ryanair flights+++++++

Will I see you in Puerto del Carmen next weekend? Best wishes!

  • Thanks for the comment. I'll be back in Lanzarote on Monday and I'll be gigging in JJs bar and the Drop Inn, P del Carmen. Get my mobile no. off the website and you can give me a call to confirm where I'm playing. Cheers.

  • this is class!!!

  • First heard this last week driving in Fuerteventura,,,brilliant. Great company too. You know who you are Jack Riding xxxxx

  • bril song keep playing at my quiz nites in finnigans and rosie o´gradys in corralejo, goes down a bomb with everyone asking where they can get it,is it going to be released as a single

  • Great!!! I love it!!! I'll roar my battle cries: "drinks or snacks?, scratchcards? calendars?"

  • Hilarious!

This is really great comedy. I will be in Lanzarote between X-Mas and New Year (probably on Ryanair).

Will there be a live performance then?

    I'd love to go!

  • Hi, thanks for the comment. I wil be in Puerto del Carmen for Xmas & New Year. I'll be playing in JJs bar or The Drop Inn. Both in the New Town area.

    Hopefully see you there.

    Cheers!

  • That's grand. I look forward to it!

  • The only people that have problems with Ryanair are the ones who can't be bothered to follow the rules.

Myself love them and think this little jingle a great little highlight of what makes ryanair so bad if you can't be bothered to follow the rules sony writer your a legend.

Enjoy many more on time flights.

  • I reject their vicious and mean rules and conditions, thus I don't fly Ryanair. I fly Aer Lingus to and from Ireland. Aer Lingus rocks. This song is marvellous! To me Ryanair is ThepitsAir.

  • Look, any person that praises this airline clearly does not have very much flying experience. This airline is the shits.

  • nice one scottie, i laughed at your lyrics,

fairplay. good luck to you my friend,

    Mark Leen

  • I would never dream of flying Ryanair if you paid me - Aer Lingus Every Time from Manchester (where I live) back to Dublin xxxx

  • very good eric but its so soooooo true

  • Hehehe! ;)

  • "After four hours of the hard sell"....Love it

  • Well done Eric... Loved it and soo true..Corky..

  • good man eric
