Think about this: Why would a pro-choice group be attacking Romney? What would they have to gain from doing this? Romney is being attacked by a pro-choice group here. There is a reason for this.

Romney never, never, never called himself pro-choice. He always said he would not change the law on abortion. His stance did not change when he said he didn't want to be called pro-choice. He didn't like labels on the abortion issue. There is no flip-flop here. There was only a 'flip' in 2004 when Romney became pro-life. This is obviously dishonest attack ad.

Heck, in 2003, he said that he would not go on record supporting Bush's tax cuts. Imagine where the economy would be in Michigan if we had not cut taxes?
He flipped flopped on ENDA too.

Romney has been more consistent on the issues than other candidates have been.
He has always been against gay marriage but has always supported domestic partner benefits. No flip-flop here.
He has always supported the right to keep and bear arms but has been okay with banning certain types of weapons. No flip-flop here. Since there is little to go after him on his record, critics go after him on these supposed flip-flops.

Economics are complex. I believe that much of our current economic issues due to poor fiscal policy (overspending by Bush, the Dems, and Reps) which has hurt the value of the dollar badly, high energy prices (which are inflated by a weak dollar), and a credit crisis brought about my unethical individuals in the credit process which I witnesses myself. Has a tax cut ever hurt economic output and if so, how?

Ronald Reagan switched positions on abortion too. Does that make him a flip flopper too? If so, judging by how successful his 8 years were as commander in chief, maybe we need a "flip-flopper" in the white house.
If you ask me though, Republicans need to STOP ATTACKING fellow republicans for joining the pro-life team. It sickens me that a Republican group would waste their time and money attacking a fellow republican in such a manner.

Romney is obviously a mere weather vain (good analogy jaystoner). However, this is not the most important flip-flop. He said that he was independent during Reagan-Bush and does not wish to return to Reagan-Bush. Unlike some of the other flips that he has attemtped to explain, I have yet to hear a justification for this conservative blasphemy.

Ron Paul has 10% of the vote, and all the support comes from this Internet.
