  • I missed this one. I think by 1989-90 I had stopped listening to them by then. Stan was the man. I actually got Steve on tape the time when Stan didn't call in and he was wondering why. That was also the time he was playing around with a keyboard in the studio. That was funny!

  • Jivin' Miss Daisy was a separate and different segment from How To Speak On Ya' (aka How To Speak Black).

  • I know, but one sort of grew out of the other, How To Speak Black being first, all courtesy of Stan Lawrence of course. Classic stuff either way.

  • haha i love how "miss daisy" is just the lady from tinley park voice.

  • Ya gotta love "The Lady From Tinley Park" playing a character, a character inside a character!

Thanks for the comment, later, Toast

  • heh, it's like victor/victoria. and now Garry has to put up with thousands of Ladies from Tinley every day, being on 'GN.

  • thanks... i was...i actually looked for it.

  • Upon further consultation of the vast tape archive this audio is from 1990 (just in case any other radio nerds like myself were wondering!)

    Later, Toast
