Synthetic saddles aren't for people with 'special needs'. Maybe some of us don't like the idea of having cows slaughtered for the sake of 'fine leather' to slap on the back of our horses.
LOL Expert Village hasn't ridden in many synthetics it would seem! Good synthetics have just as much technology and comfort as top named leather saddles. Just buy what works for you (like if you ride in the rain or in water a lot, synthetics are great!)
i use a synthetic saddle and i dont have "speacil needs" a lot of people can afford freaking 1000-3000 dollar saddles. I think the freaking saddle was more than my Xrace horse! thats pretty stupid! the synthetic saddle is perfect for me and i tried a leather saddle your legs get stuck to it its heavy as a sack of rocks and my horse hates having it on his back.

wow. actually synthetic saddles are more comfortable than leather saddles and ones that are comfortable are extremely expensive. some people cant afford that kind of saddle so a synthetic is a good option. they are lighter, eaasy to clean and comfortable. and i dont get wut you mean by "unless they have speaical needs" wow.
no but 1000 and if you have no money to buy a saddle you cant aford a horse either and leather is much better never buy a synthetic they are horible and a waste of money i tride that option as a second saddle bad idea
@misyyyyy we have a 8 saddles in are barn 2 of them are synthetic. one English and one is western. The English one is the best saddle in the barn. The western isnt the most uncomfortable one we have . The least favorite saddle in are barn is the most expensive one it was $1000. The only one that likes using it is my grandma. The rest of us will take it off and go with out one before using it. Really its a matter of who is using it and if there comfortable in it.
