@uru86 We don't have free trade, we have managed trade, actually research NAFTA and GATT. We even still have fucking tariffs. Why don't you liberals understand the difference between free markets and fascism?
here i thought the stimulus, newly started wars, tarp to bail out irresponsible banks, billions to fund other countries and tax welfare to the rich was supposed to stop all of this.

So lets recap: In 8 years Republicans fucked up our economy and caused a recession. Country was on it's way to slow recovery under Democrats with jobs being created or so. Then, Independents and lunatics re-elected Republicans in 2010 since 8 million jobs weren't created in 2 years. Since then, our economy is possibly going into another recession. Congratulations Republicans/Teabaggers. You love America so much that you are fucking things up again. Americans LOVE YOU!

Here we good america, looks like this is how the collapse of the american dollar begins. Prepare people, food, water, guns, ammo, gold, silver, etc. Look at this moron, no place for money to go, really, hum, maybe gold and silver perhaps thats why we see the price up tick in gold and silver. Down grade very little to do with market going down, what, this guy is a moron or a liar, what a joke. People the dollar collapse is near 3 to 8 months maybe a 1 year at most.
now i like gorgeous blonde sorority college cheerleaders as much as the next guy but when exactly did we start getting all our political commentary from them? what's next, hunky quarterbacks debating austerity-vs.-stimulus?
Fuck this "free trader" economist. We need a massive public works project to create jobs! It's all about jobs you morons! Those "free trade" agreements cost American jobs- they do not create them!
@ar4216 But you can trace the problem earlier to the unions, who's demands for benefits, wages, paid holidays, vacation, etc- making the cost so high for manufacturers that their rich owners paid the politicians to pass these bills so they could get their products made for an affordable price.
@Polydynamix Bullshit. Just look at the non-union, minimum wage textile jobs- millions of which were sent overseas. Or the furniture industry. Thanks to unions we ONCE had a middle class in this country. Now we live in a country where the 400 richest Americans own more than 50% of the population (over 150,000,000 Americans) and the top 10% own 80% of all assets. We are a society of have and have nots. And that's not a healthy society.
@europa Save your idiotic libertarian/Ayn Rand/Ron Paul talking points for folks who know no better. Unions were crucial to Americans earning a liveable wage. You subscribe to a belief system that is incapable of facing that reality- that's fine. It's sad, but fine.
@ar4216 Well, he was going to say that you were an idiot, but then he felt sorry for all the idiots in the world who have more to offer than what he is talking to.
@Fazioenterprise No, people like me, who recognize that there is power in a union, and that unions are a force for good, are what is right with this country. People who like you, who actively oppose unions, are turning this nation into one where the top 400 richest Americans own more than 50% of the population. You are the useful idiots that the corporate heads at places like Wal Mart thrive on.
@ar4216 Sorry honey bunch, the people who run the unions have way more money than you will ever hope to get in your lifetime, and they also get it tax free through the same loopholes that you bitch about with corporations. You're bring new meaning to the phrase "pot calling the kettle black", and you are also wrongly assuming that we support corporate welfare, which is as much an Obama policy as it was a Bush one.
@ar4216 what the fuck... i never said anything about unions... but since u want to bring them up... ya unions are messed up and dont ever want to cut back or cut jobs when the work is not there... Unions are a bunch of bitches and u obviously are in one
@Fazioenterprise You're trying to use logic to argue with an intellectually lower life form, but you are correct, union tycoons are rich and get plenty of free stuff, and it seems ar4216 is probably either getting or wish he could get some of that free money so he can spend more time on his computer trolling videos.
@hellsunicorn Are you a homosexual libertarian? Looking at your page I see you consider yourself a goth. Do you really have seven horses? Where do you live? Out west? So you grew up with money huh and not many union workers around where you lived? Did you grow up on a farm? You say you're pro-life. Are you also vegan? It's interesting how many head bangers are libertarian. And people who are into fantasy. Not sure why that it is. I bet a lot of comic book fans are also libertarians.
@Fazioenterprise And ar4216 views that as a good thing, which is why he won't listen to you. It is his mission to remain willfully ignorant of the world around him, mixing economics and religion without any kind of a rational center can do that to people.
@Fazioenterprise I suggest you pick up a book by Chomsky if you want to understand how things work. Or go watch the movie "Manufacturing Consent"- it's on Hulu. I think libertarians are fucked- their thinking regarding economics that is. I do tend to agree with libertarians when it comes to many other issues though.
@ar4216 u dont even know me or what i think... I heard enough bs reading your few posts for one day... What do u even do for a living... I dont know where this whole union topic came from... When there is no jobs in a industry or things are slow... those unions have to take cuts, and they dont want that. They are not willing to cut back jobs or pay when they dont have the income. Any business has to do that in order to survive.
@ar4216 Your just upset because you can’t break free of the useless left-right spectrum. Libertarian values are American values. It's America's heritage of liberty, personal responsibility and working to build a future for your family. The idea that you own yourself scares some... A you scared to take responsibility for yourself? I have not seen one response other than nonsense from you on libertarian values.
@tweakingit No, I agree with libertarians on many issues. For example, the legalization of prostitution, gambling, drugs. But I think libertarians seriously go off the rails when they apply their principles to the capitalist system. The people who have influenced me are people like Chomsky- people who effectively critique the current power structure. Libertarians would have us be a nation of slaves.
@ar4216 Please explain where the issue go "off the rails" when its applied to the capitalist system. And on the slave issue we are currently slaves under this current system so not sure where you were going or what you mean by that.
@Iammram The living wage is a fictional construct based on the idea that people should be able to do minimum work for maximum compensation and that the government should make it happen. It rests on a fallacious viewpoint that money is automatically valuable independent of productivity.
@ar4216 Implying that pro-union people live in reality is like saying that you can jump into a pool of water and not get wet, it doesn't square with present day events. The people pushing the catastrophe here are people like Trumka, and it's all in the name of fattening their own pockets, which are exempt from tax laws I might add.
You're a useful idiot, with an emphasis on the latter.
@ar4216 Cockroaches survive, but trolls are not immune to extinction, I'd rethink your mentality while you still have a roof over your head sweet cheeks.
@ar4216 Well, he was going to resort to sign-language, thinking that the person in question had lost his hearing, but then he remembered that this is the internet and that his inability to say anything relevant or factual was an IQ/intelligence issue. He is very sorry for making such a grievous error.

thats my point and economics not democratic rhetoric based on opinion and emotion will solve economic problems
youre union talking point and the fact you dems always pull out Ayn Rand in my opinion is a nobody just someone who who inspired by Austrian economics free market politics which won a NOBEL PRIZE
@europa Fuck your libertarian nonsense. It's a belief system made for those susceptible to confirmation bias. You only hear what you want to hear. Go read some Chomsky and get a clue. But you won't do that. You can't do that. Because anything that goes against the thinking of your beloved libertarian heroes is anathema.
@ar4216 Chomsky? Are you kidding me? The same guy who told all of his cult followers to vote suck it up and vote for Obama and now does nothing but bitch about all the people Obama is killing in North Africa (which he knew would happen).
Come up with someone who isn't a lying charlatan to offer as a counterpoint, nobody is fooled by your pale anarcho-communist raisin of a high-priest.
once again you are labeling and generalizing like a drunk racist you don't know me so ask questions rather than insult, I like Chomsky but he has a socialistic point of view and that bad economics,
you keep thinking you know me you are wrong I have many tastes and this point of view comes from years of research of history and economics
Tom Woods Harvard/Columbia graduate new york times best seller Meltdown
Peter Schiff was right
Ron Paul 2012...............indeed, because he is a vessel for a message never refuted just hidden and forgotten, unions have mafia ties as well answer to that.
what i oppose is a govt handout, you make a UNION based on Voluntary contracts then its a just approach to demanding a fair shake at RESOURCE not wages
@europa Yeah, but when you make unions voluntary, people like Trumka have to actually work for their money, and that would just be unfair, so people like ar4216 can't have that, it would destroy their religion.
@hellsunicorn Nonsense, there is more proof that capitalism (an underestimate) killed 1.6 billion people more than any left wing dictator could kill watch?v=qmYSNDr84M4
@t1mbquk2 You expect me to trust a source like Maoist News (aka the namesake that was responsible for about half of the 100 million I mentioned previously). You would have done better if you had simply claimed Mao and Stalin were capitalist plants the way most of the other leftwing conspiracy theorists tend to (which itself is based on the lie that America has been anything resembling a free market since 1913).
Cabal?? jeez you guys are amazing its like I'm talking to the same person over and over again that should give everyone pause of easily manipulated and herd mentality and the indoctrination of ideas.
Austrian economics has been around long before your gaggle of fools, communists, invented by the globalist to give away private property and to be led by oligarchy.
free thoughts and economic actions have been a struggle since the beginning of human evolution
Disney land huh???? how about you start acting like you really know your position and belief system is not at the whims of men.
the united states was formed upon these principles its called freedom and with true freedom you have the choice of competition. sound money, no central banking, no fiat currency, non aggression pacts based on private property rights, and I mean private property on the basis you own your own body, voluntary contracts the freedom to choose.
you cant hide from that comment "United snakes was formed on the basis of genocide of 90 million native Indians and millions of African slaves in reality. You comment highlights what I exactly mean about the Disney land mentality." talking point like that is the joke, shows your aren't from the USA . who else was slave trading at the time? how come they are not rich and powerful if slavery is sole reason for the USA achieved and lost so much?
@Polydynamix fuck you... Its the UNIONS that Built America... And the lack of unions are the root of the problem... The ceos could take a pay cut and keep their workers in America... But I guess 3 Yacths are better than 2...
unions are subsidized by the tax payers, distorting the market, be gone with unions with govt help, but to organize should be voluntary by individuals and perfectly just.
@europa WoW... You are stupid.... private unions.... NOT GOVERNMENT UNIONS... the average salery has DECLINED as companies crush unions... Has that worked out for America? HELL NO!
@JUDALATION Government unions get their money via taxation. Since the rich don't pay taxes according to your assertions, it's lower income people that make the union bosses rich. Try again.
@hellsunicorn Idiot... I AM TALKING ABOUT PRIVATE UNIONS... NOT GOVERNMENT... YOU TRY AGAIN !!!BECAUSE YOU ARE IGNORING WHAT I AM SAYING... Also ....I never mentioned taxes... are you high?
@JUDALATION It seems I wasn't privy to whatever argument yours was in response to. A word of advice though, try not to use all-caps so much, it doesn't make your argument look any more effective.
wow you are a slave to your opinions. you think life is just a one stop shop. you as a human are a complex systemic system of diverse coordination, and you cant say why one thing can be all or none. salaries have gone down because the govt has done everything wrong your currency is failing, and we dont produce as a society any more we consume and of the past 30 years have borrowed and inflate prosperity so look globally to the answers since we are in a globe econ
@JUDALATION So you can trace it back even farther then, to money, which fuels all of that you seem to hate. Except for your cut of course. So you've basically led the debate to "money is the root of all evil", and that I will give you... so now that you know what the real enemy is, go forth and fight it.
@JUDALATION Alright, the unions (in theory) are not only good, but necessary. BUT, you are neglecting to mention that those who are elected to run the unions, still work for their respective industries. They have become corrupt and are nothing more than a facade for the corporate pig that owns them. What you love of unions is dead, and has been for decades. Do you believe the unions are immune to corruption, unlike banking, government, police, and industry?
whats a job any way.........Just Over Broke, and what good is a job if we have 50% of the population dig a ditch and the other have re fill it? They get paid a "living wage" but there is nothing to buy...........
that is reality I implore you to look at others point of views rather than shouting irrelevant assumptions of others character
...It would really suck to own stocks right now. But, on the bright side, this isn't as bad as Black Friday back in 1929... yet. For my parent's sake, I hope it doesn't get that bad. I'm lucky in that once I have my degree, I'm pretty much guarrenteed to be able to find work. I'm so glad I chose to study translating instead of accounting. XD
@SadisticSenpai61 your serious to say things that things arent going to get bad! this is the start! 1929 will the a walk in the park!..and you find a accounting job after this crash? you really are dreaming
@NewYorkOlympians If you will re-read my earlier comment, you will note that I am studying translating, not accounting. There will always be a need for translators, which is what I took into consideration when I chose my major. In other words, I had originally been thinking of accounting, but later settled on translating.
Anyway, what exactly is going on?

@DoctorCataclysm Yeah, but that was before he dropped it on Libya attached to a bunch of precision guided bombs. lol

@europa You're wasting your effort on this snarky little troll, but someone else who reads this will probably profit from the content, so keep it up.
hellsunicorn 6 months ago
@europa Fuck your libertarian nonsense. It's a belief system made for those susceptible to confirmation bias. You only hear what you want to hear. Go read some Chomsky and get a clue. But you won't do that. You can't do that. Because anything that goes against the thinking of your beloved libertarian heroes is anathema.
ar4216 6 months ago
@ar4216 Chomsky? Are you kidding me? The same guy who told all of his cult followers to vote suck it up and vote for Obama and now does nothing but bitch about all the people Obama is killing in North Africa (which he knew would happen).
Come up with someone who isn't a lying charlatan to offer as a counterpoint, nobody is fooled by your pale anarcho-communist raisin of a high-priest.
hellsunicorn 6 months ago
@ar4216
once again you are labeling and generalizing like a drunk racist you don't know me so ask questions rather than insult, I like Chomsky but he has a socialistic point of view and that bad economics,
you keep thinking you know me you are wrong I have many tastes and this point of view comes from years of research of history and economics
so ask questions to learn
europa 6 months ago
@europa But ar4216 doesn't want to learn, he wants to pwn (but he can't even get that right), so it's a lost cause.

Ron Paul 2012...............indeed, because he is a vessel for a message never refuted just hidden and forgotten, unions have mafia ties as well answer to that.
what i oppose is a govt handout, you make a UNION based on Voluntary contracts then its a just approach to demanding a fair shake at RESOURCE not wages
europa 6 months ago
@europa Yeah, but when you make unions voluntary, people like Trumka have to actually work for their money, and that would just be unfair, so people like ar4216 can't have that, it would destroy their religion.

@europa Marx was right long time before your cabal of swindlers found out that capitalism is flawed.
t1mbquk2 6 months ago
@t1mbquk2 Was that before or after his bizarre economic theories caused the deaths of over 100 million Slavs and Chinese?
hellsunicorn 6 months ago
@hellsunicorn Nonsense, there is more proof that capitalism (an underestimate) killed 1.6 billion people more than any left wing dictator could kill watch?v=qmYSNDr84M4
t1mbquk2 6 months ago
@t1mbquk2 You expect me to trust a source like Maoist News (aka the namesake that was responsible for about half of the 100 million I mentioned previously). You would have done better if you had simply claimed Mao and Stalin were capitalist plants the way most of the other leftwing conspiracy theorists tend to (which itself is based on the lie that America has been anything resembling a free market since 1913).
hellsunicorn 6 months ago
@t1mbquk2
Cabal?? jeez you guys are amazing its like I'm talking to the same person over and over again that should give everyone pause of easily manipulated and herd mentality and the indoctrination of ideas.
Austrian economics has been around long before your gaggle of fools, communists, invented by the globalist to give away private property and to be led by oligarchy.
free thoughts and economic actions have been a struggle since the beginning of human evolution
europa 6 months ago
@europa Which country has implemented Austrian Disneyland economics?
t1mbquk2 6 months ago
@t1mbquk2

You comment highlights what I exactly mean about the Disney land mentality." talking point like that is the joke, shows your aren't from the USA . who else was slave trading at the time? how come they are not rich and powerful if slavery is sole reason for the USA achieved and lost so much?
grow up get off the propaganda rides

@Polydynamix fuck you... Its the UNIONS that Built America... And the lack of unions are the root of the problem... The ceos could take a pay cut and keep their workers in America... But I guess 3 Yacths are better than 2...
JUDALATION 6 months ago
@JUDALATION
unions are subsidized by the tax payers, distorting the market, be gone with unions with govt help, but to organize should be voluntary by individuals and perfectly just.
europa 6 months ago
@europa WoW... You are stupid.... private unions.... NOT GOVERNMENT UNIONS... the average salery has DECLINED as companies crush unions... Has that worked out for America? HELL NO!
JUDALATION 6 months ago
@JUDALATION Government unions get their money via taxation. Since the rich don't pay taxes according to your assertions, it's lower income people that make the union bosses rich. Try again.
hellsunicorn 6 months ago
@hellsunicorn Idiot... I AM TALKING ABOUT PRIVATE UNIONS... NOT GOVERNMENT... YOU TRY AGAIN !!!BECAUSE YOU ARE IGNORING WHAT I AM SAYING... Also ....I never mentioned taxes... are you high?
JUDALATION 6 months ago
@JUDALATION It seems I wasn't privy to whatever argument yours was in response to. A word of advice though, try not to use all-caps so much, it doesn't make your argument look any more effective.
hellsunicorn 6 months ago
@JUDALATION
stupid huh???
wow you are a slave to your opinions. you think life is just a one stop shop. you as a human are a complex systemic system of diverse coordination, and you cant say why one thing can be all or none. salaries have gone down because the govt has done everything wrong your currency is failing, and we dont produce as a society any more we consume and of the past 30 years have borrowed and inflate prosperity so look globally to the answers since we are in a globe econ
europa 6 months ago
@JUDALATION So you can trace it back even farther then, to money, which fuels all of that you seem to hate. Except for your cut of course. So you've basically led the debate to "money is the root of all evil", and that I will give you... so now that you know what the real enemy is, go forth and fight it.
Polydynamix 6 months ago
@Polydynamix I dont Know how a talk of unions got to whatever you are talking about..
JUDALATION 6 months ago
@JUDALATION Alright, the unions (in theory) are not only good, but necessary. BUT, you are neglecting to mention that those who are elected to run the unions, still work for their respective industries. They have become corrupt and are nothing more than a facade for the corporate pig that owns them. What you love of unions is dead, and has been for decades. Do you believe the unions are immune to corruption, unlike banking, government, police, and industry?

whats a job any way.........Just Over Broke, and what good is a job if we have 50% of the population dig a ditch and the other have re fill it? They get paid a "living wage" but there is nothing to buy...........
that is reality I implore you to look at others point of views rather than shouting irrelevant assumptions of others character
europa 6 months ago
@europa When you are asking ar4216 to stop shouting irrelevant things, you are asking him to stop being who he is, it won't happen.

...It would really suck to own stocks right now. XD
SadisticSenpai61 6 months ago
@SadisticSenpai61 your serious to say things that things arent going to get bad! this is the start! 1929 will the a walk in the park!..and you find a accounting job after this crash? you really are dreaming
NewYorkOlympians 6 months ago
@NewYorkOlympians If you will re-read my earlier comment, you will note that I am studying translating, not accounting. There will always be a need for translators, which is what I took into consideration when I chose my major. In other words, I had originally been thinking of accounting, but later settled on translating.
