  • The level of automation of this plant is extremely low, wow, and the production level, seems not to be that high.

they migth work 3 shifts, and also that is low.

how may plants exists from Zippo in USA ?

  • @frankie1287 can I buy some from you?

  • @sparkiify, yes, employees do get lighters at a discount and also get zippos as gifts @ Christmas and special occasions. Also employee only zippos that aren't for sale to the general public.

  • thisis really old. still roman numerals.

  • it is interesting that the second part is mostly done by hand. while the first part is all machine.

  • i wonder if the opeeration has cahnged any throughout the years

  • @BJpizz82197 i think its because its an easy job for older women. not having to get up or anything. they just sit on their ass all day and use there hands

  • i have a ton of zippo's in my garage that i never even look at. i should probably take some looks at them at least.

  • So I'm guessing this video is pretty dated, do they still handmake all their lighters cause there are videos of them being made by machines

  • in side unit? call it an instert woman

  • love zippo lighters and the 1980`2 and the big hear

  • 5:48 no, we cant see a difference, because of the crappy quality.

  • When you consider what goes into a zippo, they are handmade , i guess the 40 pounds i paid 4 mine is pretty reasonable, alongside maglites and sigg water/fuel bottles , they are a national classic, agood pair of vids , thanks 4 posting. 55/5

  • why are there all old ladies working there?

  • this video fucking skips alot

  • zippo's lighter fluid is actually synthetic.

  • wouldnt suprise me if they did give their workers free zippos, they must make thousands of those a week.

  • @Pierre8907 12 Million a year

  • "the etching prosess"

  • i wonder if they get free zippos?

  • i wish that was filmed in HD lol

  • I like how she say "actually" so much :D

  • Damn, I was playing with my Zippo the whole vid and now i need to refill I hate those trick videos also, i gotta question because right now Im using ronsonol. is there a difference between Zippo Fuel and Ronsonol Fuel?

  • Yes.

  • Zippo doesn't usually smell. When you dump it on your hand, your fingernails start to peal a littl faster than Ronsonol. I tested. Also, the cotton absorbs the zippo oil better so I can shake the zippo after I refuel. Ronsonol spills all over my hand when I shake. You can take my word for this.

  • @FESSFAN i thought they used rayon or something instead of cotton. i cant remember where i heard that though...

  • @RELENTLESSED Rayon is used, it is still cotton, just a synthetic, not natural cotton

  • @Bsmitty358 Thanks for clearing that up.

  • Thjaf

  • zippo fuel is much higher quality, as you can read on zippo fuel's container, it has cleaner burning, improved ignition and low odor, it really has all that.

  • @Techh76 I have never put anything but Zippo brand products in my Zippos.

  • @Techh76 i like the smell of swan lighter fluid

  • @RELENTLESSED i like the smell of gasoline ..

  • @Techh76 I like the smell of VODKA .....

  • yer zippo fuel cost more lol

  • i feel sorry for anyone working in any factory like this... but i love the lighters! :D

  • yeah I agree :P but some people enjoy it, who knows they get to keep any lighter they want :P haha

  • neeto

  • Neeto

  • coool

  • love this stuff. seeing how my favorite lighter is made. need more vids on zippos progression, instead of just tricks...

  • agree. hate too see just tricks videos.
