It's true. Big Black sounded like Ministry, back when Ministry sounded like Michael Jackson doing vocals over Depeche Mode. I like both bands however.

A local bar played the new Ministry album in it's entirety last night, and I have to say that it's probably the best Ministry record since Psalm 69.

Because Big Black aka Steve Albini broke up the band in 1987. They quit while they were ahead. You can catch Albini in his new band,Shellac,which sounds ALOT like Big Black but a bit more math rock-ish.

Also, the sample in the beginning is not from the new album, it's from Rio Grande Blood. Perhaps this is why people are assuming things already. It helps if you've actually listned to the records to know what you're talking about.

Actually, this album will be more oriented with the downfall of the U.S. "end of days" kind of theme. And this wouldn't be the "4th album" to use focus on Bush Bashing. The only album that soley did so was Rio Grande Blood, if you've heard Houses of the Mole' it deals with far more than just bush.And the other bush related material was vastly just remixes and so forth, not completely new material. So...I don't know why everyone is complaining so much.
