There is a remake (albiet terrible one) of Silent Hill 1 and thats for the wii but its like more of a different version then a remake if that makes sense.

I sort of understand what you mean, but in my eyes the story of SH2 alone is much better than the plot linking the three games that you listed. Also: I do not consider Origins canon, as it wasn't made by Team Silent. I just cannot respect a part of a series that I know would've looked absolutely different (and much better) if the original creators of the series would have made it (starting with the fact that a trucker is a perfectly idiotic idea for an SH character).

I like this but just like Shattered Memories theme it doesn't fit. I mean I had always thought the whole idea of Silent Hill was to leave you with an ambient uneasy feeling. Not that I'm not going to favorite it, it's just way to comforting.

I think Silent Hill: Origins didn't seem to have a Silent Hill feel to it, the monsters seemed alot different too.

Yeah Climax developed Silent Hill Origins. I personally think that they did a fantastic job. Climax is also developing Silent Hill Shattered Memories for the Wii. If you havent read or seen anything on it yet go to IGN as they have a HUGE impressions article as well as a interview with Climax. From what I've read and seen...it sounds PHENOMENAL. Cant wait to play that bad boy.

I just wished that they kept the character art style in Origins and Homecoming just like Silent Hill 1, 2, and 3. The camera setting in Homecoming makes things scarier but I liked the feel in the other games.
