I'm not certain if my late father knew Jean but he knew Mikie Harris. In 1963 or 64, Mikie recorded Little Miss Lonely on Epic and it is my understanding that Jean sang the high note at the end of the song. The B side was By Choice or By Chance and was written by John Korolow, my dad. I've saved the original lead sheet all these years. Wish I could get in touch with Mikie Harris but have not been able to get any contact info for her. Any ideas how to contact Mikie would be appreciated. Thanks,
What a lovely voice -- and a great rendition of this song. It's better even, to my mind, than Andy Williams' original version. This rendition seems much closer in spirit and sound to what might have emanated from the Holly Golightly character herself: sweet, pure, hopeful and true (even if so much about this character was fake). The video was a pleasure to hear; I'll be listening many times more.
