I've loved Svend Asmussen ever since I first heard him as a child in the late 60's. What a wonderful musician. God bless him, I hope he's doing fine.

Hi Jonathan, Thanks for the Svend Asmussen videos. I'm Danish myself and he 'belongs' to my youth up in Copenhagen. He's become an ol' geezer now and I'm an oldie too, 'suffering in comfort' :-) in the Med. these days -but seeing Svend again is/was great !

svend is a class act! he allows an up & coming 11 yr old a great experience and also makes sure the drummer even gets a chance to solo. i enjoyed the music and svend's great spirit as a human being. great video! thanks!
