  • Wen the sky falls, we all gunna die...!

  • Documentaries like this don’t get enough attention. Recently, filmmakers have been researching and exploring the truths that we haven’t completely addressed. I recently saw the film Programming the Nation?, and the same idea of getting their message out there is so important when looking at documentaries. They investigate the media and advertising in America and work to make people aware of subliminal messaging. An intense account of what the media is capable of, bitly .com/oQ0ZVk.

  • Do Global Warming exsist, the way they say it does? No. The bible prophcied natural disasters n the end-times, such as the times we have now come 2 enter & live n. Global warming is the scientific name 4 natural disasters that was spoken & written abt n the bible. They knew they wld have 2 give explanation & definition 2 occurences taken place 2day bc if they didn't ppl wld seek & search for answers themselves, which wld point & give credit 2 the bible, which they DO NOT want 2 happen.

    Coal plant tests Prentice promise

    .

A coal plant typically has a working life of almost 50 years.

Approvals given now will affect Alberta's environment and environmental record for decades to come. Ottawa is now on the hook for a difficult decision that will say a lot about its true commitment to progress on greenhouse gases.

  • OH NO, OH NO! UM.... breaking news, what are you going to do? CERN reports - The science is now all-but-settled on global warming, convincing new evidence demonstrates, but Al Gore, the IPCC and other global warming doomsayers won’t be celebrating. The new findings point to cosmic rays and the sun — not human activities — as the dominant controller of climate on Earth. It's confirmed Gore is a fool.

  • For a ethical, financially viable and fast method to combat rapid anthropogenic climate change have a look at "Overconsumpulation" or "One planet One child"

  • GR8..hope people watch dis DVD and expand their knowledge on global warning,

and hopefully turn back the time to a more steady earth.

  • Why is Al Gore being sued by the founder of the weather channel?? Because this film is a total fraud! Gore you need some adult diapers, cause your full of sh!t !!

  • it is all a lie. Watch the Grat Global Warming Swindle

  • 2:22 X-Files Guy! This shit is legit!

  • Bull shit propaganda, one volcano spews more pollution than all of humanity combined. Look at the scientists doing these "tests" they are biased, government funded operations purely to make it look like global warming is real. This is all a scam that morons are buying into.

  • Ron Paul 2012, global warming is a globalist hoax to help create a NWO, a global govt! Oppose these frauds!

  • check out leo dicaprio 11th hour. not jus fuels but garbage is to blame.

  • Please, lets not forget, FOSSIL FUELS are to blame for: MOUNTAINTOP REMOVAL COAL MINING, COAL SLUDGE PONDS (and subsequent dam breaks), VALLEY FILLS (buries and degrades streams), FLY ASH (contaminates groundwater) OIL SPILLS (damages marine ecosystems) HYDRO-FRACTURING (wastes millions of gallons of clean water) TOXIC AIR POLLUTANTS (infant deaths, lung caner, asthma) ...and the list goes on... Despite whether you believe climate change is "real" or not, Fossil fuel is bad. PERIOD.
  • Try again RE my Sarcastic comment about 800 year lag.

    1. Water in pan - think ocean.

    2. Water boiling - think how ocean warms over LONG Period (precession, obliquity, eccentricity etc)

In other words Natural movement of Earth periodically warms ocean THEREFORE HEAT precedes RISE of CO2.

    Heat -> Ocean -> CO2

THEN, cos Humans are ADDING to Heat

    Heat - Ocean - CO2 - Human CO2 - OCEAN CANNOT ABSORB EXTRA = + feedback.

    sorry for the ambiguity.

  • An experiment for all sceptic children to try.

    1. Put some water in pan.

    2. Steadily bring pan to boil.

    Now ask yourself -

Did the steam coming from the heated water happen before or after you turned on the gas?

Now ask yourself, why does temp spiking before CO2 discount global warming?

Since cold ocean retains CO2 better than warm ocean, what do you suppose happens when ocean warms over a long period?

Truth is heat causes release of CO2. And release of CO2 causes heat.

  • @TheElasticJesus. A lesson for the skeptic teacher.

Every one of our respected scientific institutions that have considered the issue have concluded about the same; that humans are warming the planet. No, this is no hoax. What is a hoax is that there is a credible scientific debate going on. The vested interests that want business-as-usual have invested many millions so that the public has doubts. Here's a good short film that explains much.

    Google: The Denial Machine Video

  • @ReduceGHGs

Thanx. Here's another - the Monckton BBC doco that I didn't realise couldn't be seen in the US.

    watch?v=Broh5-6bPD8

  • @TheElasticJesus .

    Monckton? LMFAO! Get real.

  • @ReduceGHGs

    ?

You've totally confused me. What do you mean 'Get real.' ?

Either you've misinterpreted my comments or you're coming from some oblique angle that I do not understand. I would be grateful if you explained your position, since I fear you have totally misconstrued mine.

  • @TheElasticJesus .

Yep, you're right. Sorry about that. I jumped the gun after seeing "Monckton" in your post. I expected the same-o-same-o.

I took a look at the vid you suggested. It's a good one. Thanks much and again, sorry for not taking the time earlier.

  • @ReduceGHGs

I was getting worried for a mo. I thought I'd signed up for the bad guys without realising it.

  • @TheElasticJesus .

I didn't get a chance to finish the vids. Looks like four of them. I added it to my favorites and will go through them all later. Much appreciated. The more light on the scammers the better!

  • @ReduceGHGs it must be a hoax if al gore is flying private jets. Or does not al believe in global warming?

Did big oil make al gore fly private jets? Or are we all suppose to be cool with flying private jets? As if al gore has no vested interest in global warming. Oh i forgot, al gore just cares about polar bears. he cant sleep at nite knowing polar bears have small ice cubes to live on?

  • @PInk77W1.

What Al Gore, a very wealthy man, does personally is not the point. But FYI, he almost always flys commercial AND purchases offsetting carbon credits. Let's say he lived in a grass hut and didn't travel at all. Would you then have respect for what he says? No, not likely. The wealthy consume more. That's capitalism. Do you perfer something else?

Polar bears are a small piece of the climate crisis. Have you read about it? Try the NAS or AAAS, they have some good info.

  • @ReduceGHGs what al gore does personally is not the point... wow i cant wait to hear that about the next republican who publically does some blunder...i dont think that will ever happen. OH so its fine to ruin the planet as long as u buy indulgences? ok now i get it. Yes i would have more respect for al gore when he says the sky is falling or the city is under water, if in fact he lived in a grass hut. Especially because i have zero respect now. Do u perfer something else? no but al gore does

  • @PInk77W1 .

Yes, it the science that matters not what Al Gore does personally. Frankly I don't care what your unreasonable opinion of Gore is.

Next try and post something worthy of a reply. Otherwise, go play.

    ‘’Scientists investigate Ecuador’s receding glaciers”

. Andean glaciers are losing volume at an unprecedented rate, with some declining by 40% over the past 50 years. At more than 5,000m (16,400ft) high, tropical glaciers are particularly sensitive to a changing climate.

  • MAN BEAR PIG!!!

  • If There's Anyone Out There That Is Reading This, Please Do Your Part To Save Our Planet =) We Need Our Planet, And Our Planet Needs Us! =D

  • @Abramovich91 You realize that the temperture increases causes CO2 increase....not the other way around

  • @rootbeer9000 .

Try reading about CO2 and its relationship with temps. In the geologic history NATURAL CO2 increases follow NATURAL temp increases. Now that we are drivers of tems as we alter the atmosphere's composition, natural CO2 increases will follow our human-caused temp increases. It's called positive feedback and it only serves to make the problem worst.

The lead-lag issue is worth learning about but don't let the vested corporate interests distract you from what the experts say.

  • @ReduceGHGs you're wrong..... plain and simple

  • @rootbeer9000 Hey, that's one hell of an argument! Dropping straight to an unsupported conclusion is telling. I hope you can do better.

Deniers often use the lead/lag issue as their "smoking gun". The problem they have is that humans weren't around in the geologic past injecting 1,000,000 years of earth-stored carbon into the atmosphere EVERY YEAR. This has altered temps and climates. Later, temp increases will cause natural CO2 releases.

    .

Sorry you hadn't learn this. Need links?

  • @ReduceGHGs lol what you are saying is wrong. Increase in temperature causes CO2 increases

  • @rootbeer9000 .

Read about the lead-lag issue. Natural CO2 increases follow temps as per the geologic record. Check out the link I provide or research it yourself. This is well known.

    .

"...changes in CO2 follow changes in temperatures by about 600 to 1000 years, as illustrated in figure 1 below. This has led some to conclude that CO2 simply cannot be responsible for current global warming."

    .

Google: CO2 lags temperature - what does it mean?

  • @rootbeer9000 .

Those "some" that jump to the conclusion make a leap of illogic. We have affected the carbon cycle. There will be consequences. We can curb them but not with business-as-usual. Unabated pollution of the atmosphere, using it as a "topless" dump site, is deteriorating habitability. True story.

  • @ReduceGHGs Man causes less than 5% of the total greenhouse gases. True story.

  • @rootbeer9000 .

EVERY ONE of our respected scientific institutions that considered climate change agreed on the core issue; HUMANS are indeed warming the planet. Study after study has reinforced the findings. Vested interests (carbon industries) continue to spread disinformation to spread doubt where no credible doubt exists. The gullible are susceptible to their propaganda.

    True stories.

  • @rootbeer9000 .

For some, there is no amont of evidence that will convenience them. It is expected. Yes, we have the irrational among us. I did all I'm will to for you.

Your posts will be filtered out. Time is of value. Good luck.

  • @ReduceGHGs And you are one of those irrational people who ignore evidence....cya scrub

  • @rootbeer9000 .

My filter isn't working too good yet. Rats!

I'm all about credible evidence. You can't provide any to support your denials. Go figure.

  • @ReduceGHGs simply go to this little thing called GOOGLE and type in "what percent of green house gases are cause by humans" and click anything. Where's your sources? none? i thought so

  • @rootbeer9000 Simply go read what NAS and/or AAAS have to say. I don't want to spoon feed you any longer. If you want to learn you don't need me to hold your hand either.

    Sill working on my filter!

  • @ReduceGHGs sloppy websites with not many facts unfortunatly. One part showed a little chart showing the massive impact we have on green house gases, however like Al Gore, this didnt take water vapor into account. (water vapor is 95% of greenhouse gases)

  • @Abramovich91 You want the facts? Google "satellitegate" and learn what the government has been doing to push for more taxes. Don't be a fool, again. Can you say, fraud?

  • Co2 is in 0,038 Vol% (380 ppm) in our atmosphere. The mankinds impact on this already small percentage (which has little to none impact on global weather) is 19%.

So even IF Co2 had any impact on or warming (which is apsolutely false, as Co2 is caused by natural warming which is normal since millions of years, NOT vice versa) it would mean almost no impact after 250 years.

    TALK TO A METEOROLOGIST!

  • @Kraneloran 1. It doesn't matter how insignificant this small percentage of CO2 in the atmosphere seems to be, it doesn't change the effect it has. It is the highest content of CO2 in the atmosphere since ~80,000 years, and of course it has an impact on the climate. The effect of CO2 is very basic knowledge, it's proven since more than 150 years.

  • @Kraneloran 2. In your second point, you obviously refer to the CO2 curve which lagged temperature.

This happened after the last Ice Age. The warming after the last Ice Age was not triggered by CO2, but by a change of the earth's orbit (-> Milancovic cycles). This warming caused the oceans to release CO2, which then amplified the warming. As a result, CO2 lagged temperature. But this time, CO2 is the trigger of the warming, and temperture lags CO2.

  • @Tervinger Could you give me a graph that shows this? As I saw the graphs (except the manipulated one from our beloved al gore) Co2 lagged temperature ever since.

Also the Orginisation that "prooved" the World's Climate change already said "Climate change will still happen, but it will take a couple of hundred years". What, if it happens, can easily be explained through ordinary change of earth climate without humans influence then. They did this because of the hacking of their E-Mails.

  • @Kraneloran Beloved Al Gore? I'm not interested in what Al Gore is saying; he is not a climate scientist.

Yes, I could give you a graph that shows it. But I don't see a reason why I should. You don't seem to be seriously interested in objective science. Honestly, according to your comments you seem to me like someone with a tinfoil hat on his head who already has made up his opinion. See, I have no ambition to change anyone's opinion, I merely discuss scientific aspects.

  • @Tervinger Show me your graph. I'm pretty open for every information. Anyone of this people promoting Co2 as an dangerous gas have far less strong arguments and also have less proof of what they're saying . I want you to change my opinion. Try it. I always search for people who can proove me wrong, as I would LIKE to be wrong. This would make my fears senceless. Talk to a meteorologist by the way ;) and then to the 30.000 scientists who proove climate change because of human influence wrong.

  • @Kraneloran Sorry, but I'm not interested in changing opinions.

I talk to meteorologists all the time. Do you want me to send them your regards?

I guess you mean the 31,000 scientists from the "Oregon Petition". Well, they merely represent ~ 0.3% of all science graduates, and only 39 (~0.13%) of them are scientists specialised in climate science. And all they did was signing a petition where they expressed their personal opinion. So what?

  • @Tervinger You understand me wrong. I didn't highlight the 30.000 as a BIG number or something. I just wanted to suggest to TALK to this people and listen to what they have to say. I also listen to the "Al Gore's" and all the people saying humans influence the world's climate (what I think is nothing else but arrogant). I talk about the stronger arguments the better logik, the exposed lies of the "pro-co2-theorie". No matter how many people tell the same lie over and over it's still a lie.

  • @Kraneloran But it's irrelevant what they have to say, in the same way it's irrelevant what the 'Al Gores' say about it. Science is not made by personal opinion, it's made by research. And that' what you should look at.

It's funny that you suggest that I should listen to the skeptics first; how do you come to the conclusion that I never did? There are some serious scientific arguments from real skeptics (= skeptic climate scientists), which were considerable alternatives, until [...]

  • @Kraneloran [...] those points were disproven by more recent research, while more and more evidence for AGW was found at the same time. That's the reason why an overwhelming majority of climate scientists now say that we face a man-made global warming and only a few skeptic climate scientists are remaining.

That's pretty much different to the public debate, where 'skeptics' are still very present. Because they don't have much valid scientific arguments to present, they have to get back [...]

  • @Kraneloran [...] to 'arguments' like petitions (just like the "Oregon petition"), defamation campaigns (for example against Michael Mann), or conspiracy theories ("climategate", "new world order", etc ). And of course the charlatans, like Christopher Monckton, Björn Lomborg or Tim Ball, which have replaced the real skeptics since there aren't many remaining ones; have you ever wondered why there are always the same few skeptics in all those docus against AGW?

  • @Tervinger It is impossible for Co2 to be whats causing temperature rise. 1). temps not have been rising for 15yrs, while Co2 still climbs. 2). Co2 drastically, loses it's ability to retain heat after the first 20ppm. (Linzden Choi 2009) The approximately 390ppm's we're at now means that the difference in heat retention from Co2 has almost no value.

  • @MrOTLChamp Lindzen's paper you refer to contains numerous flaws. It was rebutted by Trenberth's paper "Relationships between tropical sea surface temperature and top-of-atmosphere radiation" (2010), by Murphy's paper "Constraining climate sensitivity with linear fits to outgoing radiation" (2010), and by Chung's paper "Revisiting the determination of climate sensitivity from relationships between surface temperature and radiative fluxes" (2010).

  • @Tervinger whether the paper is accepted among the warmist camp doesn't matter. The first point I made is, Co2 continues to rise while the temps stopped rising about 15yrs ago. And it's no secret that Co2 lags behind temp rise by 800 yrs. Coincidentally, about 800yrs ago was when we had the MWP.

  • @MrOTLChamp The paper is not accepted by scientists because it is flawed, and its conclusions were rebutted by new results of research.

Temperature cannot be regarded out of context. Global warming refers to the imbalance in the earth's total heat content; it refers to energy not to temperature.

CO2 lagged behind temperature at the end of the last ice age, because CO2 was not the trigger of the warming that ended it.

  • If you look at the satellite images of earth's temps, you will be hard-pressed to find any heat. And the warmist calling 2010 being the hottest on record? Someone is lying. Seams to me that there were more cold records broken in 2010 than hot records. So, who is actually able to report earth's temperatures? Could that be the organizations that are promoting AGW?

  • @MrOTLChamp Two questions - Do you know the difference between global warming and climate change?

Do you know the difference between temperature and heat energy?

  • @Tervinger "The warming after the last Ice Age was not triggered by CO2, but by a change of the earth's orbit (-> Milancovic cycles). This warming caused the oceans to release CO2, which then amplified the warming. " Can you show any science that proves Co2 had amplified the warming after the LIA? I'm sure the IPCC would love to get their hands on it.

  • @MrOTLChamp Sure.

  • To all the Al [ do as I say,not as I do ] Gore sheep, I have some carbon credits for sale, they fell out of his limo on his way to his private jet. hit me up....

  • The republican party has frightened me but I hope to get over that... we do need to continue to study this weather change... I've personally observed many glaciers which have significantly receded from warming....

  • @Pkr Did your glaciers start receding before the industrial period or after? Glaciers receding does not indicate AGW, only gw. If you have any proof that it's from man, I'm sure the IPCC would like to see it. They seem to have a lack of evidence, so anything at this point, I'm sure they would be appreciate it.

  • @Pkr It has nothing to do with being a republican. It has to do be being an American. Not some communist trying to take down the best system in the world, bar none. Why do you hate America so much? Why do you hate freedom and liberty, and love tyranny?

  • @Pkr

Yea that happens when the planet gets hot for a few decades. 100 years from now we will be cold again.

  • well it wont let me put it up, but search "home" on youtube and u will be able to watch the hole video.

    enjoy!:)

  • there is a great documentary named "HOME" i am going to put up the link and i hope someone watches it because it is really good information and has great evidence, without graphs lol. but also so sad that people have to be so selfish that they just can't admit how much we have destroyed this planet. it is sad really. but also ok some people don't believe in global worming, but what is wrong in keeping the world clean. why are people so against that?

  • so yes Al Gore did lie, but the pictured he did show where true and some of the information is true. it sucks that he had to lie because now people are having second thoughts about global warming, but sure this guy lied but look around it is happening. i no the world goes through changes, but the changes and dramatic heating and cooling of the planet are real.

  • China polluting news that the red/green cabbages ignore....................

Coal is inherently higher-polluting and more carbon-intensive than other energy alternatives.

China’s coal output increased from 1.3 billion tons in 2000 to 2.23 billion tons in 2005 making China by far the world’s largest coal producer (next largest is the U.S. with 1.13 billion tons produced in 2005).

To meet their rising needs, China and India are certain to burn more coal.

  • I love how all the argument on this page is that Al Gore is totally right, or that global warming is the biggest scam ever and not true. Can't there be a moderate? It's a movie, not everything is going to be portrayed correctly, it's about making money. But if you think there is no evidence of global warming, you either totally misunderstand the theory or are just plain retarded.

We already knew that he wasn't too much worried about his own carbon footprint because he never changed his high-flying ways. But it's the location of his new house that is a puzzlement: it's ocean-view property. He clearly warned us that rising ocean levels would flood the coasts.

This new house could mean that he never believed what he said about the oceans rising to flood the coasts

This is caused mainly by the activity of the Sun, which will undergo an historic solar maximum that will bring to an end the 36-year global warming phase that began in the year 1980 while opening a new global cooling phase that will get underway by the year 2017"

Monarch butterflies seem to be facing yet another year of declining numbers as they battle against climate change and the loss of habitat. And this one could be one of the worst ever, a leading entomologist said.

The odds may be against monarch butterflies resurging to normal population levels this year, worries entomologist Chip Taylor...

    PERU GLACIER COLLAPSES, INJURES 50

LIMA, Peru—Around 50 people suffered injuries Sunday when part of a glacier broke off and burst the Hualcan River banks in a development the local governor attributed to climate change.

The mass of glacial ice and rock fell into the so-called "513 lake" in the northern Ancash region, causing a ripple effect down the Hualcan, destroying 20 nearby homes.

"Because of global warming the glaciers are going to detach and fall on these overflowing lakes. This is what happened today," Ancash Governor Cesar Alvarez told reporters, linking climate change to the disappearance of a third of the glaciers in the Peruvian Andes over the past three decades.

A 2009 World Bank-published report warned Andean glaciers and the region's permanently snow-covered peaks could disappear in 20 years if no measures are taken to tackle climate change.

  • There's a lot of sensationalism in main stream media 2day, and this is one of them. The Chile quake has shifted earth's tilt toward sun. Meaning, rays of the sun will be rather direct and therefore intensifying heat over in the North Pole. So expect more ice to melt there. I'm sure Al Gore will associate his cause and the melting ice caps there.

But isn't it good that ice should melt when more and more water dry up, 2support life. Did desert land also spread?

Methane Releases from Arctic Shelf May Be Much Larger and Faster Than Anticipated

    NSF - March 4, 2010.

Research results, published in the March 5 edition of the journal Science, show that the permafrost under the East Siberian Arctic Shelf, long thought to be an impermeable barrier sealing in methane, is perforated and is starting to leak large amounts of methane into the atmosphere. Release of even a fraction of the methane stored in the shelf could trigger abrupt climate warming.

  • As Martin Heimann writes in Science: Wetlands and permafrost soils, including the sub-sea permafrost under the Arctic Ocean, contain at least twice the amount of carbon that is currently in the atmosphere as carbon dioxide. Release of a sizable fraction of this carbon as carbon dioxide and/or methane would lead to warmer atmospheric temperatures, causing yet more methane to be released. It would thus create a positive feedback loop that amplifies global warming.
