I was in Minneapolis on business and caught this crew on my hotel TV.

Dixon"s Girl was being done live. I stayed up and watched the whole show. When I returned home to NYC googled the collective and fell in love with thier style of hip hop.

i hate hip hop. But the jazz influences and dedication to innovative beats and poetry really made me pay attention.

that and the fact that dessa is awesome.
