I transcribed and performed this for my charity Christmas concert this year at the Cork School of Music, Ireland with 50 piece orchestra and 85 piece choir!! After only 1 rehearsal I think we did it justice, love that movie! Happy Christmas everyone!

Yeah we played this song at the begining of December and the Euphonium part is intense over all there's a 9 measure break where the solos are happening but other than that its constant.

I'm a clarinetist (3rd part for this) and some of the running lines are like HOLY SH--.

We don't have any violins or cellos or whatnot, but ohmygod... We sound awesome.

When I was in eighth grade I was the only clarinetist, but now we have like... alot :P

we finally had our concert last night, and polar express did not sound like this :( BUT i finally hit the double octave C at the end of the piece! :)

(note: double octave C is like the highest note on the flute)

This is my favourite movie music. Do you want to know my favourite little tiny little part in this whole piece? You can barely hear it, but it's that little horn call at 4:32 A flat - E flat - A flat

actually I like ALL of the horn parts in this music.

Actually I like any french horn parts in movie scores.

yes the flute part is so high its almost funny, especially because of the intonation issues with those notes.
