  • And how it evolved into the longer BUZZ on ThyssenKrupp elevators, which is more annoying.

  • i have always found it rather odd for older dovers to have the buzz

  • Yes, I like the beep and bell signals better than this sick BUZZ, which needs to be replaced, and may occur with modernization.

  • they absolutely MUST replace that buzz, those indicators usually have a bell

  • I think I went to a hotel once in Worcester MA with Dover elevators with those same fixtures, and it had a beep instead of that awful buzz.

  • I can hear it too, and I do like the bell better.

  • Yes, that buzz definitely does not go well with that indicator.

  • you can hear the former bell clicking it defiantly was converted to the buzz

  • This must be an earlier version of the BUZZ, since I have an elevator from 1980 that also does that, and it sounds more sick than the newer BUZZ.

  • Interesting to hear the famous BZZZ on this type elevator. Usually it'll be the bell or chirp.

  • That's very interesting, but they can be found on some Otis, Schindler, and Montgomery/Kone elevators. However, they must be very rare.

  • That's the first time that I have seen a digital floor indicator on a Dover hall panel.
