  • THIS CLOWN IS CAREFUL TO MENTION "REPUBLICAN CHRISTIANS" ABUSING THE SENATE PAGES AND THAT HE COULD "SAY A MILLION THINGS" ABOUT THE FOLEY THING....... YET NOT SO MUCH AS A WHISPER ABOUT THE CONTINUING OUTRAGES WITH THE PAGES THAT HAVE SURROUNDED BARNEY FRANK HOMOSEXUAL (D-MASS) ....SOMETIMES IT IS WHAT YOU DON'T SAY THAT GIVES AWAY YOUR AGENDA !

  • Comment removed

  • @AlienJackSlaps OK BUT DOES THAT SOMEHOW MAKE HIM BETTER ?

  • @LilChuckyWoodenHead YES, it does make him better.

  • I agree with this guy too! Yes, I agree. The people's interest not selfish independent agenda. I don't want to live in a monarchy or a tyranny.

  • Get ya gear off!!

  • as a non practicing protestant, I hear what you are saying RR. It doesn't take an idiot to understand that those who are working goverment, whether it be legislative, judicial or executive branches, need to be leading by example.

  • It will take the Democrats that are Christians too.. does he cover that NO HE DOES NOT>>>He is a big a hipocrat as the ones he is talking about.

  • uh, dude, he only mentions democrat christians about 4 or 7 times during this video.

  • awesome

  • Just last week, we saw a WashingtonState GOP guy have gay sex and end up in a legal issue about money, while proclaiming he isnt gay.

Today we have another GOP'er From S.Dakota who raped 2 foster girls while in his care.

  • Maybe this fella should run for office. He states the common sense ideas that are prevalent in our society today among the average american citizen.

Past our religous/ political affiliations, we all want to stop criminal acts that harm children.

Remember, the children that are harmed sexually, emotionally, mentally, physically today could become adults with those issues doing the same to your grandkids, other children and potentially live a life of self destruction.

  • Always good to hear your thoughts, RR.

  • Well he's right we can't put up with this behavor any longer !! Buts it's not just about christains I am a buddhist and I think it's about anybody who knows right from wrong !!!

  • who nowadays listens to the public, congress does what they want just like work maybe one day a week and get paid for 5 days, they don't care what we say, nor does this bush nit wit

  • well bubba, the amazing things,if you'd do a certain thing called"reading"on occasion, you would have known these things years ago.bulls don't make corn.bulls shit.and you live more in a theocracy than a monarchy.I need out of this redneck country.who wants to come with me?

  • Given your grammer, I'll just say, "pot, kettle, black..." LOL

  • Go right ahead and leave. I'm staying here with thoughtful, intelligent people - whose opinions I may not share, but whom I happy to call my fellow Americans- like the guy who made this video.

  • nice post.

  • LOL white trash. Well you shouldn't have voted for Bush than. Go back to your construction job and vote Democrat next time.

  • Hell hath no fury like Christian hypocrisy.

  • you already do live in a monarchy.. god is your king, you do everything he says without question so why are you so suprised that it happens in your government as well. Politicians always lie.

  • I agree.

  • It's rednecks like you that put the crooked republicans and the christains in power. Christains, indeed ANY religious fanatic, have NO business being in government. Rednecks like you elected Bush the first time, so stop your whining.

  • You don't know me. Watch more of my vids on my other channel ReluctantRedneck and see what you think. Putting folks into convenient boxes so you don't have to listen to what they say is a big part of the problem.

  • Ummm lol what does christianity have to do with this? unless you speak of the catholic church's ability to cover up things like this!! And on a last note... GOD IS IMAGINARY!!! just like santa claus

  • yeah america is so great.. u all need to get over yourselves. U.S.A is not the center of the world u red necked fuckers!

  • what the hell is he even talking about ? whos a pedofile???? dick cheney ???

  • Mark Foley

  • When are you running for Congress? I'll donate to the campaign. Just plain common sense is not, after all, that "common", unfortunately.

  • keep preachin brother!

  • YOU'RE NOT RELUCTANT ENOUGH!

  • No need to shout... lol

  • didn't I see you on "How to catch a predator.."

  • Yeah, I was the cop interviewing you after you were caught... lol

  • LOL! Your a funny guy LOL LOLLOLLOLL

    LOLI!!

    LOLOLLLLLLL!!!!!!!

    OMG LOL!

*Not sarcasim seriously I cant stop laughing!* woo.. good times... John stewart is funny but I like that one girl Sarah Silverman, nothing to do with new but shes funny.

    Stephen Colbert is dumb.

  • our country is headed straight to hell if we do not change or ways and do the work god put us here to do, christians today just overlook things and think it is not their problem, face it folks all of us are going to face god one day soon, ebeter get to work now before we all go straight to hell

  • Er, except for the fact there is no god, no heaven (where in the world would *that* be and what in the world does anyone actually *do* there?)

Let's see....Earth = billions of years old but Jesus is 2,000 years old?

something really wrong here with this fairy tale.

    twallace

  • Amen

  • If you can prove without a doubt there is no god, then do it? What does jesus being 2007 years old have to do with anything? The bible doesnt say the earth is 2000 of 40 billion years old. Since we only know about ohhh 1% of what is in space, how can you make a comment like "where would it be". Youre pathetic, bring some facts, not hateful opinions.

  • My answer to your video. Thats what politicians do. I agree with you, action must be taken.

  • ...You live in a county that chose and worked hard to become a superpower: act accordingly. Live up to at least a fraction of who you pretend to be!!! A country that stumbles trough history like a goat in a glass factory cannot not deem itself to be the greatest country in the world. Live up to your own expectations and use your common sense to realize that solutions do not reside in one person, country or faith.

  • Thanks for your comments. I don't really see how they relate to this vlog, but I understand your frustration with the effects that American policy have had throughout the world.

  • ...People in other countries do not elect American governments and officials and yet we are doomed to live with the haphazard electoral whims and hypocritical moral convictions of people who can't tell the difference between New Mexico and Mexico; ignorant by choice and comfort; ignorant for fear of being challenged to care and take responsibility...

  • ...The fact that you consider yourself and, your religious and political kin, shows the same arrogance and ignorance that has killed thousands of people in a useless war, maimed the Kyoto protocols, taken the UN hostage by America's unilateralism and on and on and on...If you believe that showing candor and false candidness while at the same time being convinced you have the answers, the rest of the planet is still in for it...

  • It seems incredible to me that American conservatives have taken so long and have to see the planet turned on its side to get it. And still I think you don't...

  • The daily show rocks!!!

  • Five million people watch Stewart and Colbert every day.

  • I will say you have a touch of class. I believe you to be an Good, Honest American man. But I still think you voted for bush, and that scares me, and anyone that did that scares me. Face it, Bush supporters fucked this nation. They fucked themselves and everyone in it. Social security, pensions, its all been screwed because of that bastard. Leave religion out of the poles. Vote for intelligence. Vote Osama if you want to see the world take a change in a positive, modern day thinking direction.

  • lol, tired... DO NOT VOTE OSAMA... VOTE OBAMA

  • Didn't vote for Bush and I like Obama!

  • Thank you.

  • Point well made.

  • The day of close Presidential elections are over. In 2008 one of the party's will win an absolute majority. The so-called liberal conservative vote will be split. I'll come back to this comment 2009 to see if I nailed it.

  • Man are you kidding me??? Its up to the republican christians??? You're the ones that fucked this country. Please for the betterment of the country, republican christians, stay in the house. Jesus has nothing to do with election day, no more than any other Americans choice of worship. You are the problem. Wake up.

  • Christians helped elect the old congress and helped elect George Bush. This was a plea for Christians to hold them accountable. I think we all can take some of the responsibility for screwing up the country. We all need to take responsibility for setting it straight. Thanks for your comment.

  • We need more people like you speaking out. Nice Job!

  • Thanks.

  • I couldnt agree more.

  • Thanks.

  • could not take my eyes off this video; so much candidness and honesty; spoken from the heart; I am a Democrat, a far-left winger and a Christian. Would like to see more of you on video. Thanks!

  • Be sure to check out my new channel, ReluctantRedneck. It's got all my new vids. Thanks, Tony.

  • nice one.

  • I would like to see the seperation of church and state from both parties. I dont see how the dumbest man on earth got voted into office 2 times. Wake up and open your eyes.

  • I agree.

  • It is nice to see a member of the christian community see the Bush administration does not have its best interests in mind. I wish someone could get that Jerri Falwell, or however you spell his name to recognize this....

  • oh im sorry... was that a REAL election or a MID term election? Is Bush still president? hes still sittin there like a tool last time i checked

  • THE TRADGEDY to ME is that people think that by broadcasting their opinions, SOMETHING will get done. BTW Christianity and religion in general is a waste of valuble time and energy.

  • Something did get done. Remember the mid-term elections? Thanks for your comment.

  • Now thats what I'm freakin' talking about. Nice job.

  • Thanks!

  • LOL Gesus! You Americans are funny... WAKE UP!!!

  • i agree, republican politicians are evil. selfish, eveil, and full of hatred, just like all republicans.

  • how do people watch a whole 6 minutes of the rants and ravings on this site? THESE VIDEOS ARE SO F**KING BORING!!! PLEASE STOP THE MADNESS!! NO ONE CARES ABOUT YOUR POLITICAL OPINION

  • Why do you care what people contribute on a site where its tagline is "Broadcast Yourself"?

  • Even when the person has different views to me, I still value to hear their opinions. Thats the beauty of the internet, that ordinary people can debate like this.

  • I listened to your message. I WAS a Republican. Now Im a Democrat. To hell with the folks that are destroying my pension. Plus they dont want to raise minimum pay.

  • Good call. Thanks for listening.

  • When you started, I was afraid that this was going to be another, "Jon Stewart shouldn't be making jokes about this." But lucky, I have an attention span and kept listening. I really enjoyed what you had to say. You do have a way of speaking, my friend. Are you happy with the election results?

  • Yep. but the dems in congress are a little limp so far. Thanks for the comment.

  • Well, I was very happy that the Democratic House did what they set out to do with the stem cell/minimum wage/ethics/etc. agenda. But I agree that the Senate, side from Kennedy and Feingold, need to really grow some and stand out strong. At least some Republicans are starting to oppose the president, though.

  • I think they should play hardball with Bush. Let him know that impeachment ISN'T off the table. I don't think he wants that and would be a little more reasonable.

  • A pity that they repeatedly told people pre-election that they weren't going to do such a thing. Now if they do, it could be used against them. Don't know how well that would play, though, since the people gave Dems the majority to governorships, state legislatures, and Congress for a reason.

  • Good man,wise words.

    Thanks mate

    waffe

  • Thanks for watching!

  • Well said man...I couldn't agree more. I am a have always tabbed myself a dem, but I'm not sure the parties matter any more if you think about it. Anyone who still doesn't believe there is a massive, and I mean massive cover-up, youtube: "WTC7", or "Curt Weldon's CSPAN 911 Commission speech". I am not so sure they all didn't know.

  • I have that hat too, you redneck.

  • lol Did yours cost $5000? 8^)

  • Hey man, this is the second video I see of you. Cool stuff. Keep it up and keep talking to the people who need to hear this. There are lots of them, and you know it. One more thing: I'm starting to love your accent :)

  • Thanks. If you decide to subscribe, be sure to use the ReluctantRedneck profile. That's where the new stuff will be. Later, Tony.

  • Its sad that it took a gay pedophile to finally dismantle the republican government. After all the wars, deficits, torture, corruption and privacy infringements THAT is what did them in.

  • AHHHHH!!! i love you! you remind me of my dad. All the stuff you said was so true. Im so sick of the government lieing to us. The world is ashamed of us. And im beginning to see America become this material obsessed, egotistical country and i'm glad to see somebody who still cares.

  • Thanks for the comment.

  • So much truth! Come into the light please :)

  • Thanks.

  • Thanks for making sense. As a moderate Republican I'm tired of watching the paty move further to the right and self-destruct. What a sham. Many members of the party deserve to lose. Their hubris os overwhelming.

  • Thanks.

  • Wow! Such a powerful broadcast. Need more of this bloke in the world. Well done mate!

  • Thanks!

  • This man speaks the truth.

  • Thanks.

  • Sir, I am neither Christian, nor even an American, but I truly wish that most of your countrymen held your commonsense views - the world would be a safer place! Keep 'em coming!

  • You bet. Thanks for your comment.

  • Stewart and Coloradoz06 for President and Vice.

  • lol. That'd be funny, at least...

  • Aren`t these Republicans the ones that are always talking about "Family Values"? What a joke! Instead of trying to protect the children from these Republican pedophiles, they bury their head in the sand and pretend they don`t see a thing. Well said Coloradoz06.

  • Good Point. Thanks

  • right on, lets put him in office. He spoke some of the truest words I have heard in a while

  • Thanks.

  • IN MONARCHYS PEOPLE DON'T HAVE TO BOW FOR THE KING!!!

Almost every Monarchy in this world is a democratic country! Were the people have the power.

  • What the heck are you talking about?

A democratic monarchy? Seriously ... Don't do drugs mayng.

  • Foley is an ass. He resigned. Barney Frank is an ass. He didnt resign.

  • The mere fact that you are comparing Foley to Barney Frank shows that you must dont know jack shit about either.

  • Did I ask you?

  • I completely agree, though I am neither Christian nor Republican. People absolutely need to vote so that everyone is heard.

I just wish people would pay attention.

  • coloradoz06 for PRESIDENT!

  • Very well said. It's unfortunate though, that there are only two viable parties. So who do we vote for, dumb or dumber?

  • Hear hear. Every republican who heard about this is responsible.

  • Thanks.

  • G.O.P... the Gay Old Party!

  • Very good commentary on a very serious topic.

And it's not only the moderate, fair-minded Christians who would be very disappointed by the behaviour and appalled by the lies and attempted cover-up - not to mention the failure to remove Foley from Chairing the committee on missing and exploited children.

  • Thanks for your reply.

  • you said it, people are lazy, they revel in their comfortable little shell that has been given to them systematically. They're holding onto the railings of the huge luxury ship they built, as it slowly sinks beneath the waves. The majority LOVE their non-rational misery, it's been along time coming. People sill be horrorized, and they'll think it isn't their fault. Bless all forms of intelligence...namely, not us

  • wow... I'm going to have to spend some more time with this one.

  • I talked with my son who was a teenager at the time about Bill Clinton's deeds with Rowanda, Somalia, Monica, Bosnia, and the USS Cole; it was my attempt as a father to raise my son to be an independent critical thinker with a heart for the Lord. Today my son is age 25; he warns me of the danger of the likes of GW Bush! It's one thing to know of the Truth but it's another to possess the Truth! As God gives us breath, let us speak truth at least to our own children, TY for this video!

  • true

  • thank you cartman (love that)one of my son's HS buddies has left this world because of the blindless ambition of GW Bush. Its one thing to be a leader and and other to be a bully. I think we all know what we have as a leader!

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • american is doomed. both sides are corrupt.

  • The system allows corruption in many ways. We need to change things.

  • the fact that we are having this debate can be our national salvation

  • It's about time Christians figured out these guys are starting wars for oil, abandoning our youth by not funding education, giving tax breaks to the rich until there is no middle class, and lying through their teeth about WMD, election fraud, and unconstitutional laws. Do Christians think the world hates us because we're good? Jesus would weep at our actions and Fox news would mock Him.

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • Thank you for that. That was very eloquent and your words should be heeded by everyone, regardless of their religion or political leanings.

  • Thank you.

  • Abu Grahib alone should've been enough to put Bushco out of business. Oh well I guess we have to take what we can get to put an end to the nightmare of this administration. Hopefully the November elections see to it that Chimp and Cheney finally get impeached but I'm highly skeptical thanks to the "fix is in" Diebold machines floating around out there.

  • The vote rigging worries me too.

  • I think this video is just one big ad for Summit Racing Equipment... oh by the way I agree with him

  • Guess I need a new hat... lol. Thanks for your comment.

  • All the Democrats can come up with is "there's a better way," because they cannot come up with an argument that Jesus is against war, would not have let people drown in New Orleans, and would not let Big Oil CEO's have their way with this country. I am Jewish but I consider Jesus to be one of the greatest philosophers of all time, and let me tell you Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., now there was a Christian. G Dub, you're no Christian.

  • You suck

    You are a dumbass.

Have you finished high school yet?

  • That's pretty good material. Do you write it yourself?

  • Excellent. This video is a perfect example of the real power of the internet over traditional media outlets. Uncensored commentary from real, sensible people is worth so much more than some talking head on a screen trying to earn his paycheck. As of this writing, I see it has been viewed 2200 times with 87 comments. The individual simply did not have this power even a few years ago.

  • Thanks for your comment. YouTube and the internet are wonderful tools for individual empowerment. Later, Tony.

  • I feel much better knowing this guy and hopfully more like him are out there.

  • Thanks.

  • I'm a Christian, but not a Bush robot. If anyone truely believes these guys in Congress are real chirstians, Christ like, you are lost. The teaching of Christ are pure and loving, not full of war. You have no love for Iraq or Bin Laden, and Jesus taught to love your enemy. People who make it to Bush's level or congress don;t get there by being "Christ Like". You noobs vote for the person who is going to help our country, not the guy who plays the "Christian Card".

  • Thanks for your comment.

  • There is an epidemic in this country, politics and otherwise, of NOT accepting responsibility. This gentleman has pointed that out....but I think we need to see that, and as much as we may not like to admit it, that politicians DO set the tone in many ways in the U.S. Having said that....wouldn't it be refreshing to see a politician in the national arena to actually take responsibility for a f**k up?? Hey! I can dream, can't I??

  • It would be very refreshing!

  • How sick is everyone of hearing that 'it was the booze"...someone really should stand up for Liquer here-- It does'nt turn people into the Devil... And it sure as hell doesn't explain or excuse bribery, corruption and texting filth to kids.

  • PS - they LIE about everything. This is NOTHING new.

I know there area good christians, muslims, jews buddhists and athiests - who SAW through them then and see through them now. Let's get past the way THEY have polarized us and kick the bastards out.

  • As horrible as these nasty emails are.... how come it took this not torture, defilement of the consitution, bribery, mass bomobings of children (brown ones far away)-- wasn't enough?

They were criminal scum BEFORE this. Please WAKE UP.

  • I did vlogs on some of those issues, as well. Go to my profile page to check them out. If you'd like to subscribe, please do so on my ReluctantRedneck account. Thanks for your comments, Tony

  • Oh and I like the last part best, "If the Democrats do the same thing, we'll vote them out too." Go you!

One question though, are the Republicans and the Democrats the only choices you guys could have? Can't you vote for an independent candidate or ask for a third party when both those parties prove to be corrupted?

  • There have been third party candidates in the past, such as Ralph Nadar, and they haven't done very well. They tend to pull more votes from the Democatic candidates. It would take a very strong person to win as an independent.

  • Yes I remember Nadar and you are right, all he did was mess up the election. There should be a way though. A group of smart, independent people who aren't hungry for power and won't lie to the American people to take their money and bomb other countries. These people should come together and create a new party. Heck, I'm in Canada but if that ever happened I'll help their campaign.

  • It may be time for a third party, but it would have to be lead by someone strong and honest. I'm a fan of Wes Clark, but I'm sure he'll try for a Democratic nomination if he runs...

  • It warms my heart to watch this video not only because the speaker has so many intelligent things to say but also because he shows the willingness to do something about it. I pray to God that there are more Americans like him, that the Christian Right would realize they too have a choice and that they shouldn't let these people soil their image and abuse their votes. Nobody is tied to a party indefinitely; if you feel deceived and your values sullied, fight back. The vote is still in your hands.

  • Couple this with the fact that the US people are being brainwashed into thinking that the war on Islamic fundamentalism (under the guise of near-insurmountable Terrorism) is an imperative, culminating in the, quite frankly, ludicrous notion that 'The Apocalypse' is imminent.

The rest of the world looks on. Often in sheer disbelief....

  • I think you mistake the Christian fundamentalists for the majority of Americans. There is a bell curve of intelligence in the US, just like the rest of the world. We are not necessarily as brainwashed as you think. Machismo is much more a factor in the war on terror than religion, in my opinion.

  • Historically, Christianity has flourished when it shares or influences the politics of a country. Consider Catholicism - it became hugely powerful under the Royal houses of Europe in the Middle Ages. It merely 'slept' through the tyrannies of the 1930s and 1040s, whereas it's power-base is eroded in times of peace under democracies. >>>

  • I agree. We need to get back to the notion of separation of church and state.

  • If you're looking to Christians to prevent the creeping totalitarianism in the US, you may be wasting your time.

You draw a parallel between Monarchy and the worst-case scenario for future US government, but this ideology looks more like Fascism. That aside, it's worth remembering that virtually all previous kings (of which us here in Europe have had our fair share of) are seated on the shoulders of religion, an so it suits both parties just fine. >>>>

  • There is a large majority of Christians who are reasonable. I think the time is well spent. The differences between Monarchy and Facism aren't as important to me as getting the point across. If we put supreme power in the hands of one man, we are lost. Thanks for your comments.

  • Why should they have to be christians? It only ever seems to be christians who turn out to be peadophiles. How many Atheist peadophiles have you heard of? None
