"how far can I go for 85p'" well that is nonsense as ALL persons over 60 can apply for a bus pass" Freedom Pass" which is usable through out the UK.

@agedvolunteer yes we know that, but she didn't know - and that is the point of the video.

In her day, men were head of the house and took all financial responsibility. Wives stayed at home and did all the housework, got changed for the husband coming home and looked after the kids. The elderly when they couldn't cope, moved in with a daughter and family but now women have to work and are too busy to cope with looking after the old so they become isolated and no-one cares. So sad.

Thank heavens for charities like Age Concern. Scary thing is I'm going to be 50 in a year's time. How did THAT happen???

Look after the older ones - they gave us life and if they gave you love, give it back.

dont get me wrong anybody. Im 25 right now, and i just feel that this is the limit of my youth. At least in Biological terms, is killing my mind to know i just started to get old, but thats the way life is. we never know what we have had until is gone. i dont want to get very old and being alone like millions around the world who has no one by their sides even just to give them a glass of water, so sad to see. I hope science will be able to slowdown aging in an amazing way :) genetically.
