Wow! I remember the wispa one so well from my childhood! (probably because I ate so many wispas in the 80's!) I think what really dates most of these adverts along with the dodgy fashion is the fact that a lot of the voice overs have such RP (received pronunciation) accents. It make them sound very old fashioned. There wasn't much regional variation compared with today's ads.
