You can run Counter Strike Source with newer 945GM with GMA 950 with moded driver at full settings and 1024*726. This setting gives you 25fps on average and maxium at 60fps!

@chrischoy9 Ye ive done it but i would say run at 800x600 beacuse you be going into 15fps on more newer maps tweak it to your liking

I would like to think Windows Vista/7 is causing you to get terrible framerates. Have you tried tihs on XP?

@williamday247 I have the better GMA 950, but performs pretty much the same. I just can't believe iPod Touch graphics can do 1Gig pixel fill rate @ 17 million triangles while GMA 950 can only do 800-900mega pixel fill rate @4 million triangles :P

and NO modded drivers, im looking into it though

I have no idea how you ran css at 20fps with such a bad cpu and graphics card. I had 1.8ghz core duo cpu and GMA 950(GM945) without modded drivers and it ran it at 3fps at lowest settings.

actually everyone with a gm945 runs it badly without modded drivers. U should also install configs for maximum fps. search casey's config on google
