Viewers here may wish to expand the (more info) area, follow the link to auctionbytes, where the situation is getting very ugly with regards to how ebay is attempting to trample a seller's freedom of speech by stating they will shut him down if he posts his live help chat, which shows eb for what IT really is.
Hope everyone makes LOTS of noise about that!

Idiots. eBay does this crap every year at this time. It is a stunt to get people to go to eBay, get people to talk about eBay, get people to post videos about eBay... eBay, eBay, eBay... Guess what - their traffic is up 14% today.

My hunch is that the bulk of that extra traffic was users searching as tests to see what is still broken.
Quite frankly, after all that ebay has out it's sellers through in just the last week I would be surprised if their holiday season is not a complete wash and epic fail.
That porn and adult content cross promotion ads on live listing situation is a real outrage.
They purposefully LIED and ambushed sellers with that imo

There are lots of unlucky and unhappy campers for sure.
Apparently ebay is already stating no refunds according to blog comments by those whom have spoken w them via phone.

Hahaha, Yep we all know about Ebay's Backend. Doesn't this happen every year? OMG This is another classic.
I remember one year they had the problem that lasted from before Christmas thru February. Just so happened to be my busy time of year. But the site was dead.
Thanks for posting. Ebay has only gotten worse with their site. Glad I closed my store in 2008.

I recall on year just before the holidays we were popping up into other people's "my ebay" pages.

You can still get to the items on your "watching List" So its a great opportunity to grab some really cheap items that you had your eyes on. Of course it works both ways, if you're selling something u're going to get owned too.
