I am an "old" lady and I always loved werewolf movies in the 50's and 60's and always loved Michael Landon - Hoss was my favorite of the Cartwright bros! My mother ruined everything for me when I was a kid - she told me the movie was not scaring me, it was the music leading to something about to happen. I could hardly hear the music until she said that!
They aren't 'kids' but I guess when you are a gruff and annoying dad straight out of 'A Christmas Story' with an unintentionally creepy wife and a daughter who is the most generic and uninspired Barbie of a female character, that doesn't matter to you.

3:31- By "protect", he means . . . Trojans!
5:45- That kid with the bongos should be slapped silly! ---Oh, wait, foreshadowing!
7:08- You and me both, Hon! If this kid's not a virgin, I'l really be surprised!
7:21- Oh, now we know who to hate for this lousy number!
7:46- Oh, God!
8:06- No joke, this is some DAMN good guitar soloing! Damn good.
8:43- Is that a boom mic?
9:29- They love him?!
9:38- Ugh. When a middle-aged guy tries to get it on at a teen party.

What's with the shitty musical number? Did kids think that was cool in the 50's.

Also own this movie, won't stop watching it every 24/7. Oh! if it wears out, easy to replace.

Man, I wish I was a 50's teen so that I could get up in badly synced musical numbers whenever I wanted.
The whole song after @7:26 is so off it's endearing.

That movie and Bonanza were the only shows I liked with Landon. I did not like the syrupy ones, like Little House, etc.
